Yes. The video should have some trouble: It can record but when you play, it seems it didn't move and always stay in the first frame.

MGC-5.1.018_FullManual_v1.0_Android-7.0+-fix01.apk (BSG, 2017-12-26).

It's the latest MGC patch and works on my S7E snap.

BTW, Video has same issue with previous one. When you replay your recording, it always stays in the first frame.

My setting is only for S7 snapdragon.

BTW, i don't use front camera since stock camera supports attractive stuffs like beautify, slip image auto.

Guys, the portrait mode of pixel 2 has been ported to nexus 6p/5x and older pixel devices. The developers of op3/3t has developed the app and made the portrait mode work on nougot aswell... Can we have it developed to work on s7exynos versions? Since the dual pixels of S7 will be able to do the job.

@Arnova8G2 can we request a fix for our Galaxy S7Exynos running Nougot... portrait mode on back camera and the front camera itself without portrait mode which hasnt been working on any versions... Appreciate your work and thanks in advance

Latest mod of google camera by B-S-G from 4pda, portrait mode works just fine on snapdragon version of the galaxy s7 (g930v).
But you need to focus on the face in normal mode, than switch to portrait and take a picture. Don't moove the phone, preview is showing wrong in portrait mode. Real preview is showing in normal mode.

I am using nexus 6 model in b-s-g mod settings, hdr+ parameters on high. And also turn on "Portrait mode on all models".
Debug text about AF Status is changing every time, but this thing can be disabled in Developer Settings. "camera.af.debug.show".

Galaxy S8+ G955F

I have Galaxy S8 G950FD Nougat Exynos. Will it work or is this for only Oreo?
I tried the settings but it is only black screen and when I go to portrait mode, it is stuck on the portrait mode logo screen.

I guess the main problem we are facing is the exynos chip and we are still in nougat OS... too unlucky cause we dont have any developers to help us in this forum...

Got one working. I can share, if interested. HDR works fine even on LAOS.

The java part of apk is obfuscated by google so it is very difficult to make any progress.
I had a look at the logcat of the front camera crash. It happens within java code so there is at least hope.

I think it is a bit of a miracle that this app works at all on our devices. I like google's sharpening and denoising algorithm much better that sammy's in bright conditons. Much more natural.

Front cam crashes, true. No Google Camera has an option to save to external_sd, as Google think that external_sd is something Android users shouldn't have. The implementation as it is now is sort of hack done by community, and Google is against it. If you do intend to use external_sd for google cam, please flash magisk root and then let i download xposed module. With xposed, download and enable pictures2sd, should do the trick. Or there are solutions like folder mount, ts_bind, and so on.

Confirmed: Working on Galaxy Note 8 Exynos(N950F) perfectly. Lens blur also working in front and rear camera(better than live focus).
Would be great if noise is a bite less.
