I have no issues with tap to focus. The only issues for me so far in this release are video recording and slow motion. Everything else is working better than stock Moto cam.
Weird. You can tap to something closer and it will refocus to it ? It is weird because on Moto app I have no problem, same with manual camera app but gcam every port I tried I can't refocus to what I tap.

Oh, I see. So the real issue is not tap to focus, it's focusing on close objects. Yeah, I have this too. I don't usually take pictures of close things. Not a big deal for me, but I can see the problem.
Well than is not working. You will also get blurred pictures of landscape if you touch screen . This is how I found imthis issue.

There is no manual iso or shutter speed control available in Gcam. So, if you want these features then download one plus camera in which slow Motion is also working.
No new apk of Gcam for Motorola one with everything working (HDR, slow mo, focus, etc...) ?

The second app is not perfect. On my moto one there is a problem with auto focus when you want to make a photo not far away from object.

1st app have the problem also, when i turn on this app, i have black screen on camera option, i must to switch video or portrait to take a picture.

With parrot mod (based on gcam 7.2) I'm not experiencing any particular issue.
