Google Camera Mod Thread for OnePlus 5/T [OFFICIAL]

In v2c Hdr plus from front camera is producing more detailed images now.

I have 5t, but it shouldn't matter. I'm getting camera driver error when I switch to the front camera. Am running stock Nougat.

HDR+ parameters: Very High
Panorama resolution: High

Advanced
HDR+ Control: On
Portrait mode: On
HDR+ quality of jpeg: 100%

Everything else I left it on default.

Will Zsl be used with these settings? It says that it works for the config that uses Zsl and I think nexus 6 auto doesn't?

Zsl works if after taping a snap button you don't see this ring in the middle of the screen. I think it only works
with these 4 configs with Zsl in name

Quality is perfect, but how to fix little dots?

They're there because of OnePlus's camera HAL -- can't be fixed for Google Camera.

Is there any way to use it with locked bootloader?

Yes, but you will have to stick with an OOS version that has the old camera HAL by default. I think Open Beta 2 was the last version with OnePlus's old camera HAL. Google Camera's HDR+ won't work with the new OOS versions containing the new camera HAL.

No, those settings will not enable ZSL, but they are the most stable/recommended ones. The ones with ZSL are more prone to/crash more than the Nexus 6 Auto settings.

Something is wrong on video. Too much zoom in by default. O5, 5.0.0. With HDR zip in TWRP.

Working perfectly with arnova8g2 1.4 GCam and Oreo GCam fix. I am running 9.4a xXx Rom and Franco r15 kernel.

It makes a world of a difference between the OP cam and Arnova8g2 GCMod. Pictures comes heaps better with a increase in file size (as one would expect).

The only version I founded works on my OP5T (dumpling) with 8.1 Custom ROMs is

"GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.2 modded for OP5 Oreo update.apk"

I see v.15 worse than v1.4. Same settings but images are not saved when taking pictures.

Its a work in progress so don't expect it to work for all devices especially when its a port. With the OP5 mod fix you can get it working but you need root for that. Your only choice is to wait if you want a working stable and minimal bug version of GCam.
