It already works with Oreo on O5. I'm using version 1.4 with HDR+ fix zip file via TWRP.

This version replaces the original version of google and BSG.

Last i heard you still needed to be rooted for Google Camera with HDR to work on OOS Oreo. One Plus could fix it--Google Camera worked fine on the beta builds of OOS Oreo before the official build came out. It seems like One Plus wants to discourage its owners from using Google Camera and force them to use the One Plus camera app. It's a big issue for One Plus users in India where this is sold as a mainstream phone and very few owners root theirs.

@Arnova8G2, it doesn't work on OP5 with Omnirom 8.1
Black screen on back Cam.
Attaching logcats, I tired all modes.

Doesn't work on 5t either on Phoenix. V1.4 seems best at the moment.

When i open camera black screan..
And front cam is working. I try all modes ??

Thanks for that but unfortunately I can't install it as I already have a Google camera app installed through open gapps [emoji45]
