I realized this was never posted in this thread, so for those of you who might be wondering why has Arnova8G2 has been missing in action for sometime now, it's because he met with a motorcycle accident and he's in the hospital, where smartphones and other portable electronic devices are forbidden. The accident was a major and he's started to use the wheelchair now and hopefully with rehabilitation/physiotherapy, he'll be able to walk soon. Let's keep him in our thoughts and pray for his speedy recovery.

Hello. May i know why exactly we must flash camera Lib fix?
Because i flashed that fix hoping that it would remove dot pattern issue. But it's still there. I'm using arnova's 8.3b1 port. Before that i was using arnova's v6.0 port without root. I don't see any difference at all. V6.0 was working perfectly.

Firstly it removed the dots to the maximum (zoom in without fix and with fix ) second it will enable front potrait mode on Google camera , which is far superior than one plus.

Oh.. i never used lib fix & i always thought it completely removes the dot pattern. Anyways, it's still far better than the OnePlus cam.

HDR+ on is working but ZSL is not, the selling point of which mode. Video always crashes.

Why care about videos ?, the original OnePlus app Camera is already great with better sound quality and better stabilization... I just want better pictures from Google Pixel camera app.

BTW Pixel3 mod sucks for O+5T, the best is to stay with Pixel2 mod.

Deleted older version of 5.3 and also cleared app cache
Still can't install

Whenever I update my Rom the camera app gets removed. I think the culprit are the opengapps, does anyone knows a fix for that?

Flash opengapps again without Google Camera (or maybe with +CameraStock, I don't know which one is causing it), see here.

You can also edit the /system/addon.d gapps script not to remove the camera app.
