Unfortunately I realized the same. But with the original xml media profile everything was "pattern free"I can see patterns when I shoot outdoors. But it is unnoticeable when I shoot indoors. Now using this cam only for indoors.
I just made one comparison until now. First picture was taken with Hdr+, second one with Op5 cam in auto mode.Could somebody post more comparaison pictures of that HDR+ mode ?

Oh good, I'm not crazy. Mine is also doing this from outdoor shots with large areas of similar color. Stock oos camera looks fine, Google Cam I see the dots. Indoors it doesn't do this.Hello,
The Photo quality improves a lot with Pixel camera but I'm having a weird bug when I take a picture of a big surface with one colour. I get this strange pattern. I differs a bit depending on the colour. Look at the sample picture. Already tried to clean cache of the app. Any further advices?
