Hello. I have a Redmi Note 7 MIUI 11.0.7 Global and have installed Google Camera v7.2.014 - v3. The app works perfectly, though. When Lavalier microphone is connected, a photo is taken every few seconds under Video restarts the recording shortly after exiting. What can I do to prevent this from happening again
guys, double tap dark area of shot button won't bring config menu in any of the app versions i tested so far. guess i missed some class. what am i doing wrong?
If I'm not wrong, the latest versions posted (7.3.020 v1/2/3.../6) don't let to use any config file, that's why tapping on the black area is uneffective
Go to the settings first save the current .xml then try double tapping the dark area again it should work.
Edit: i was on an older version, but now trying this and there's no way to save xml files, so, idk

Happy with Pic quality - only downside without GApps GAccount Portrait mode is buggy
Video Stabilization works, but Autofocus is a little too "pumping".
Are there any substantial improvements in those aspects in 7.3.020 V7 ?

After an update to Android 10 with MIUI 11.0.1. (global) gcam has started crashing in night sight, astro and in hdr enhanced. Actually, only bulkin043 cam (version 7) kind of works (if the light is enough) but even this version crashes in night sight, astro and hdr enhanced if the frames are more than 5. I tried every possible version – 7, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4 by almost every possible developer and it is always crashing when “processing” the photo. I cleared the data, even factory reset my phone – no help. I think this is not a local problem, but an effect from the update, so if anyone has some ideas on how to deal with these crashes, please feel free to share.

I now installed MGC_7.4.104_Parrot043-v4.apk (Parrot043, 2020-08-13) on crDroid 6.3.
Video Autofocus Pumping with first test seems much better, so far almost not noticeable. But whats seems to be less smooth, especially when fast moving is the Stabilization. Will see and report if I notice other substantial changes.

New Cam APK 7.4.104. So far seems better then 7.2.014
you didn't understand me right.
u use MIUI or custom rom ?
Some roms use NEW cam blobs that cause EIS fail with glitches on screen border on the side.
