GCam doesn't work on MIUI 10. Just install a custom ROM or use MIUI Cam
Ok thanks ? anyone knows how can I install twrp in my Redmi note 4 snapdragon 625 4/64 variant I tried flashing but whenever It showed completed I tried to reboot it into recovery mode (ps. I have unlocked bootloader and I also had enabled camera 2 API ) but the device doesn't boot into twrp instead it reboots back to my lock screen (I have tried nearly 15 times) and I always have pressed the power and volume up button

This is sad ??

Now, i have to downgrade to miui 9 ??
You can use it on Miui 10 if you get an Oreo 8.1 or later port of Miui 10 based on one of Xiaomi's other devices.

There's a few of these out there.

It's just Xiaomi broke something on Miui 10 Android 7 for the Redmi Note 4x and they haven't fixed it.

If you check the Telegram group @midodownloads you can find some Miui 10 Android 9 / Android pie ports if you want to stick with Miui 10.

This is still the best gcam for Sony/Samsung sensors - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77606695&postcount=2602 (doesn't work with OV sensor AFAIK)
If you dont care about night sight use it, i had 0 issues for past 8 months. Top quality for both back/front gcam, no video refocusing, no crashing or fc's, no tint, HDR works perfectly for both front/back and portrait.
Good video quality with bitrate selection aswell, no problems achieving 60fps @ 1080p with proper mods. ( https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RkHruqNGIKnkgfhX0B7BaeEGYc-airBc )
Some people just have obsession with installing something new every few days because they think it's better, well guess what it's not.

Even with the omnivision sensor? The ones I've tried all crash immediately after opening. I'm on pie with Resurrection Remix.
Are you using any patches or Magisk modules that are making gcam run for you?
Thank you.
Yes, with OmniVision. Using the latest pie build of RR.

Only problem I have is pink tint. ROM developer needs to hardcode black levels.
