New update..?Hello everyone! Read the news about the ported Google Camera, and it's just stated to work with Snapdragon 820 and up, but I just had to install it on my LineageOS Note 4 and HDR+ is actually working! In my opinion it lowers the digital noise a lot, and will be my daily camera app.
Camera2 API needs to be enabled for the app to work.

This is called Hyper Camera - modified Google Camera version 6.1 - developed as far as I know by some Brasilian developers. Their Telegram group: https://t.me/gbcam
This particular file is a version of Hyper Camera modified by user Naazish, downloaded from another Telefram group (https://t.me/rn4photography). It includes fix of crashing the app under a heavy light, e.g. sunlight (fix originally prepared by Bulkin043 aka Parrot dev). Also I attached the settings from the aforementioned user in xml format. To apply the settings: After installing the app go to your internal storage, create the folder called "GCam", inside it create another folder called "Configs", and paste inside the xml file. Open the app and tap twice on an empty space in the bottom area of the app's interface. Select the xml file and tap "Restore". Of course you can adjust the settings according your own preferences.
Note: For some users enabling options "Motion picture", "Focus tracking" or "Sabre" causes camera crashes. Also remember, that the number of frames set in the enhanced HDR+ has an impact on the duration of taking the photo
All above information comes from my personal experience and experiences of other users shared on the Telegram groups. All credits goes to HyperCam developers, Naazish and Bulkin043 aka Parrot

You should start a new thread to inform everyone about this.
Use Parrot043 (used to be called Bulkin043), his builds work fine on Samsung Sensors - this is his most recent 7.x port, works on Android 9Trying Gcam v6.3 and it is not working too bad. I have samsung sensors. https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog746/

So far for me it seems pretty stable. Some previous versions would occasionally crash, but so far haven't seen this build do that. But it's fairly new, so can't give a 100% guaranteeIs 7.0 Version 12 stable ?
Is this only for AOSP/MIUI? Been trying all of these variants but they always fail to install. You will probably need to uninstall the old Gcam before it will let you install the new one. Also you have to have Android 9.0 for this version, I am using it on Resurrection Remix, Android 9.Is this only for AOSP/MIUI? Been trying all of these variants but they always fail to install. Also the V12 Astro version has a date of March 2019, what gives?
Thanks for clarifying. I do have Android 9 (LOS 16). I'll try to uninstall my current one and see if I can install it afterwards, will report here later on.You will probably need to uninstall the old Gcam before it will let you install the new one. The Gcam build date is probably when Google made the version 7.0, which was an internal testing / build, as the 7.1 and later release builds were Android 10 only. The version numbers like v12, just refer to the modification number of the people adjusting the APK file to make it work for our non-pixel devices.
Sorry, but I don't understand what to do.
