Yes. You are actually going forward as this is the stable release for QPR1, thus newer than the last QPR1 beta (3.1).
Thx, yeah, by "going back" I meant going back to stable.Yes. You are actually going forward as this is the stable release for QPR1, thus newer than the last QPR1 beta (3.1).
Sorry to bother you again:Yes. You are actually going forward as this is the stable release for QPR1, thus newer than the last QPR1 beta (3.1).
I ust saw someone else tried to sideload the December full OTA zip while on QPR1 Beta 3.1 and also got that error. Not sure why that is happening. I would use another method to update.Sorry to bother you again:
Can I sideload it through recovery? And which OTA would I use in that case if my installed version is 221003.008? The Nov one (TD1A.221105.001) or the Dec one (TQ1A.221205.011)?
Because I tried the latest one first and it gives me a timestamp error.
Factory update without wipe?I ust saw someone else tried to sideload the December full OTA zip while on QPR1 Beta 3.1 and also got that error. Not sure why that is happening. I would use another method to update.
Yes, you can remove the -w from the flash-all.bat file and flash the factory image, or use Android Flash Tool or even Pixel Flasher, assuming your bootloader is unlocked or unlockable. You can even wait for the OTA.Factory update without wipe?
First phone I haven't rooted so not really keen on wiping.
Custom Kernel won't fix your modem firmware but flashing your modem.img will. Custom kernel will save battery life and increase performance.I am in 5G unsupported country and I am using physical SIM I have tried to disable DSDS but it didn't seem to stick. I have tried with stock and beta QPR1 same result. Which custom kernel would you recommend? I think the issue is with the radio and the Samsung Shannon 5300G. I am not sure if there is a radio firmware I could try.
Got another ~2.5mb OTA today. OTA sideload worked now.I ust saw someone else tried to sideload the December full OTA zip while on QPR1 Beta 3.1 and also got that error. Not sure why that is happening. I would use another method to update.
Unfortunately for me the bug still exists P7P. I am not sure if different hardware release have different modems. But my phone is useless at the moment.

The fix is to just wait. It probably needs a server side update, Google Play System update, Google Play Services update or another type of update.Updated to December release, but privacy and security isn't updated like from some web articles. Any help for fix? Ty.
What you do not understand is that I would love to have a Xiaomi phone. They have had several over the last few years that I was very interested in. However, they are NOT supported in the USA so I would NEVER buy one...and if I did I would NOT complain that something doesn't work right! It's really very simple! Sheesh! It will be difficult for me to make you understand anything since you fail to understand simple things like why anyone would pick a Google phone instead of another brand. Anyway I had Nexus and Pixel phones in the past and they have worked just fine. I was very well aware 5G and VoLTE don't work and I was not after these features. I would be perfectly fine with just 4G. Mine Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 2 XL worked flawlessly. I might have a faulty hardware I am not sure at this point. If you could not help me at least don't blame me for my choices, the money I have spent are mine not yours. Like I have said I know since the beginning some of the feature would not work and this was a risk I was willing to take since I wanted a "clean" android and rootable + unlocked bootloader (there are not many phone manufacturers offering such features). I was not expecting the Pixel to not support any well established telecom standards. Aside from that I live in Europe and I bought the phone from neighboring country. It is not from Japan or US/Canada with different bands.
If you ever want to delete your post, just report your own post and ask for it to be deleted.edit: solved. was not a bug but a setting in "rest mode". now i don't know how to delete my post so here we are.
i received the December update and got a new bug: i've changed the home wallpaper and now it is dimmed as the lock screen. the icons are well lit but the background is darker...can't solve the stupid issue (see pic)
xiaomi working fine for me in the us, i had the 11 ultra then got the 12s ultra. the only thing you lose is 5G.What you do not understand is that I would love to have a Xiaomi phone. 5G is meh at best and not a priority for me. What about warranty though? With the cost of these things and the necessity of having a working phone, a warranty is a must. Do you have a good steady cell signal while traveling?xiaomi working fine for me in the us, i had the 11 ultra then got the 12s ultra. the only thing you lose is 5G.
