Google hangout audio/mic......

Hey guys going on a long trip away from home and need a working video chat. Are there any 4.2.2 roms that have Google hangout or Skype working correctly? Cm and slim currently having mic issue. If not....I'm going to bump down to 4.1 or something until I get back. So any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks! :beer:

As of now there is only one 4.2 ROM (that I know of), so you'll probably have to use something else.
What is the mic issue you're having?

There is a commit I forgot to include with CM10.1 that might help...
You can try replacing /system/etc/audio_policy.conf with this file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1077120/Android/audio_policy.conf
Should be included in the next build either way...

Downloaded and tried out Skype (wow is it sloooow). It requires/uses an input sampling rate of 48000, which was missing from audio_policy.conf.
You can grab the updated file from here (or wait for the next build)

I imagine this would affect CM10 too, so it'll probably go into the next build of that. ICS doesn't use audio_policy.conf, so it should already work there.

Edit: Nope, CM10 is fine... maybe 48000 is forced on 4.2 or something..
Still going to include support for it in the next build of CM10 anyway
