Google Home annoying addition to every command

My google home has suddenly began an annoying, unwelcome and unrequested addition to every command.

If I say "Ok google shut off kitchen light" it will reply "Ok, turning off kitchen light. You can also set this up as a daily or nightly routine.....

It just started this week so there must have been an update of some kind. I have no desire to use routines and I don't want to be constantly badgered.

Is there any way to disable this annoying addition to every command?

I had it first few times and now it's on all of my speakers
