Go to setting - application - all - Maps
and just select uninstall update then without doing anything you will have older still. But yeah dont forget to turn off autoupdate for map.
Indeed U R Lucky, this is not possible in type 2.

Hi Doc,

Got a non rooted Galaxy S. Downloaded the app thru type 3 mode. The nav runs fine and shows the route. However cant follow the route as it shows 'Searching for GPS' thoughout though both gps and gprs are available. :crying: Any solution?

Galaxy s have gps fix issue commonly.
Get gps test from market and try to fix gps. If you can root, faster fix is gud appl to fix.

It says Data Connection Lost , each and everytime I tried to navigate ....... n m using the third option and the newly installed navigation app with a ciecled ........

You need active data connection to run navigation. Check your net connection.

Am unable to install type 3 application in Galaxy Notes and it says "There is a problem parsing the package". Kindly need your advice and help.

Download and Rename it to Maps.apk
Clear cache and uninstall current Map with system removal appl
Push Maps.apk to system/app and change permission rw-r-r
Restart
