Per my understanding the voice navigation is directly available In India now.. We do not need to go through this process. ..
It started on Sunday I guess

6.11.1 is latest.

Hi Dr. Ketan. Current map is 6.11.1 but can t find link to type 3. Where would latest type 3 be? Or should I use the one in your initital post of this tread 6.0.5 type 3?

type 3 is not available for latest map
But sure you can use 6.5.0 which is available on OP

Every time I restart phone maps is reset. I have to enable location sharing again. I used both type 1 and 2. Any idea?

It doesn't work. I cannot lose latitude register. Every restart I lose settings but latitude registration is active.

Tap on Menu >Make available offline.
One can save map areas

Yes offline map caching is available as said above, but remember this is just to save data while travelling, still you need active data connection during navigation.
It is not offline Navigation completely like sygic.
