Now that google has free offline maps.. Is there a chance we can those offline maps here and use the navigation ??
The pre-cache is helpful but only covers a portion of distance

Am presently on Stock ICS with Root ...
been to ICS and Paranoid ... both have FC's at some places which irked me ..

AFAIK google will provide offline at end of this year isn't?
I am on ICS india stock ROM.
6.7 hav FC issue, but 6.8 is smooth.

I'm on LiquidSmooth v2. 2 and both 6.7 and 6.8 works fine, no FCs.

also what is the difference between type 1 and type 2? which is prefered?

type 3 is not a good option as I think it will use another few MBs

Btw intelligent thinking for not using type 3
How many hundreds app you are using? M using 423 still have lots unusable space.

Yes, if you used type1 or 2
And update from market, then world navigation feature will be replaced by stock navigation.

I tried 2nd type but it keep saying app not installed... I did clean cache.
1. Uninstalled map using titanium
2. Reboot
3. Installed type 2.
4. Says app not installed.

sometime you need to repeat it 2-3 times
-reinstall map from market
-dont run it, clear data from setting - application - all - maps
-uninstall
-uninstall street view too
then try installing type 2.

-uninstall
-uninstall street view too
then try installing type 2.

Type 1 perfectly works for me.. Thanks problem solved.
