Up until now, I thought we could not get the google phone app without root.
Coming from a nexus and pixel, it made me very sad - google dialer has nice auto search internet for places kind of functionality.
But I found APK here and it works!

I have nothing to do with this, am not trying to get any credit or anything, just wanted to bring this to fellow S8 users attention.
