Google Pixel Camera with portrait mode and HDR+ (Non-rooted)

REQUIREMENTS:

Redmi 5 (Rosy) with

1. Bootloader unlocked,
2. custom recovery TWRP installed.

PROCESS

Install the Pixel Cam mod APK. (Remove the spaces)

Then install the fix file using twrp recovery. (Remove the spaces)

WHAT WORKS:

• HDR+ mode
• Portrait mode (Both Cams)
• Lens blur
• Front Flash
• Video stabilization (EIS)
• 60fps vid

Almost everything

WHAT DOESN'T WORK:

• Slow mo

NOTE:

• I've not developed or ported this mod, I just found it on the web and tested it on redmi 5 (Rosy).
• It may also work on Redmi note 5/redmi 5 plus, as the camera censor is the same. Try it on your own risk.

Doesn't work

Tried of AICP Rom rosy
New Camera app crashing even after flashing the fix.
Default camera also stopped working. is there anyways to make default camera app run.
Tried uninstalling the gcam and editing the buildprop persist.camera.HAL3.enabled to 0.

Can anyone help ? dont want to reflash the rom.

Unfortunately the fix bricked my Redmi 5

This is not your fault. I think the zip got messed up by Opera and now it won't boot to Android.
So yea... I'm left out without a phone.
