Google Play Music issues

Been enjoying the free 6 months GPM trial, and was considering continuing it after but a couple things have me completely annoyed.

1. If I am streaming music over cell data, and my screen is off, and a song queues up that has the optional "video" the song doesn't play and it doesn't skip to the next song. It just sits there. If I am on wifi it plays the song fine screen on or off.

2. Many times when I am in a strong LTE signal area, and all other apps using data work fine, GPM will "grey out" any music not stored locally and refuses to stream. It's not because I don't have data obviously.

The fix for issue 2 so far has been to toggle cellular data off and back on. Suddenly everything works. Haven't found a solution for issue 1 yet. Not sure if it's specific to the Nexus 6 or not but I didn't have these issues on my Samsung Note 3 which had a much worse data connection than this phone although I wasn't on the paid streaming service either so it seems like more of a Google Play Music streaming issue.

I don't have any if these issues either, I have been using Google play music since it was first realised, and I use it often I'm an avid cyclist and ride at least two hours a day and up to 6 on my days off, both thru urban areas as well as thru places that I don't get service. When I'm on a long ride and I don't get service the app will actually automatically start playing music already downloaded in the cache and not skip a beat, but this on a shuffle of all songs so there is a variety in the cache. The video problem you are having is very strange the only issue I have ever had it will pause it self from time to time or get stuck trying to load a song, but I'm talking maybe once a month at the most not a big deal. What ROM are you running and how old is your nexus 6??

I was having the same issues, mostly if in power save mode

I am having an issue where if a song comes on with a "watch video" button nothing happens when I press the button. It's pretty annoying
