Google play services drain

Hi all,

I know this is kind of a rhetorical but what solution do you have for the eff-ing drain in Google play services. I tried almost everything...beta APK, latest APK, clear cache and storage but nothing seems to stop the ****ty drain. Till the play services got updated, everything was great...but post the update..it's just disaster...

Please help

I had the same issue on my Galaxy note 8. Tried lots of things to no avail sadly.
