A few weeks ago my Note 2 hard bricked itself, or I might as well say, it died.
Anyway, I bought a motherboard off eBay and installed it. Everything seems to work perfectly except for my Sky Map app, or any similar app. It's supposed to give me a real time view of what's in the sky. The apps load as usual, but when I point it at the sky nothing changes. Whatever star or view was on the screen when it loaded stays there no matter which way the phone moves. I always used Google Sky before the motherboard replacement. I first suspected the GPS, but Google Maps and a speedometer app work ok. I downloaded a GPS test app, and it shows everything is working. Does anybody know what's wrong with it?
