Also do you just go into recovery and update from zip?

Would need to be rooted to use it sorry. Either methods of installing (ADB push or flashing zip via ClockworkMod Recovery) needs root/unlocked bootloader.

Added uninstall recovery zip... This should make it easier.

In looking at the NS4G 2.3.7 update i noticed the nfc libs were updated. I got a crazy idea for cm nightly users... try the nfc libs from the NS4G 2.3.7.

The updated files are:

\system\lib\libnfc.so
\system\lib\libnfc_jni.so

Report back on how it works

The files are named
\system\lib\libnfc.so.p
\system\lib\libnfc_jni.so.p
(.p extension in the back of each file)

I removed .p from those two files, deleted the existing files, replaced with the above two and it froze at Google logo. Had to reflash the ROM. Is this the correct way or can you post the working files?

Set up went fine - it does say that citi is currently unavailable if I try to add a citi card, prepaid set up though just fine. Has anyone set up a citi card successfully? Has anyone paid with this yet?

Never flashed Nexus Sense, but yes, i have that problem for a few months now, and never found out what caused it. It could be possible that Wallet is checking IMEI while trying to add card to avoid having multiple cards per user/device...

I tried replacing some files from extracted ROM, but it either gave me FC or freeze at Google logo. Hmm...

Cool thanks!! It works on i9020T (T-mobile USA) stock ROM, I just flashed it and no problems. Got my free $10 prepaid card.

We need to study the NS4G delta update to see what other libs were updated. One of them is key to making it work on CM nightly.

Only way to get write access to the system. Non rooted is read only file system.

You don't need root - you need to be unlocked with a custom recovery, nothing more. If you want to remount /system once the OS is loaded you need root, but working inside of a custom recovery having root access via the su binary has no relevance.
