Hello, have you read the posts 1-5 ?

There is a nice post: "will it work on my device?"

Your device release date is 2020, September 28

Which means, you can't get earlier firmware, the only hope for now is to think "maybe they didn't integrate the patch into the initial firmware", so you can try to get this initial firmware. But I've tried to find one and the earliest is 08-10-2020 10.1.1.109, you can try to download it, you can try using the hisuite method, but like said, please read posts 1-5, really everything explained you need to know.

Hello,

The Google Play Services is working just fine though, it's GSF (Google Services Framework) that I'm talking about.

I've done little bit research about purpose of GSF and perhaps I'm the one who misunderstood here, some article said that GSF were also take part in handling connection between apps and google-related functionalities. Right now I got one app that wouldn't work well and after comparing between my current device and older one, it seems like I'm missing GSF in non-GMS device.

Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

hi, i have a p40 pro, i have successfully installed googlefier on version .131 . now i am on release .172. When the emui 11 comes out can i upgrade or risk losing the services?

All google apps working just fine (gmail, drive, store and maps no error). But today I have noticed my contact sync is not working. It was working for some days ago. I have tried new Googlefier contact sync fix but did not working. You can see in my screenshot last sync was on November 18. I am on latest GPS.

I'm actually running on Mate 40 Pro (France), so not able to use your tool right now.

I'm keep looking for a solution and I found this one :

Is there someone here able to read or translate what's written into the video and what's said by S.P.B UV ?

As you could see, he uses your tool on a mate 40 / pro and it seems working good.

Do you know how he is doing that "trick" ?

INstall manually contacts sync to v5.1.1 from apkmirror and will do the trick. Work for me

Hello bender_007,
i'm the guy with the Y8P, i downgraded to 10.1.0.124 (the earliest free that i found) but google play store keep crashing ... can you please help me to find the 10.1.0.10 version or other really early versions ? (first version released with the Y8P that has been released in may 2020 10.1.0.10) please i really don't have money $ nor a credit card ... i will be really thankfull if you do it ..

Thanks a lot for your software! I've just installed GMS on my bright new P40 Pro + (ELS-N39) in Switzerland.
I've received it with Firmware 10.1.0.137, installed Googlefier, it worked however I had some problem with unwanted notification. So I upgraded the Firmware to 10.1.0.156 and installed Googlefier again... this time with success!!
So once again thanks a lot for your great job!

I hope you didn't keep it like that? I mean if you have the notification errors, then it's not fine, you should redo it :)


My suggestion, only if everything works - then install play services update and then upgrade OS, that's fine then

No, no... as I said, I did re-run Googlefier after the update to 1.1.0.156... and it went fine! Now everything is well working, without the annoying notification... :)

Hello, just wanted to say thank you. I was able to install GMS on my huawei p40 pro+. It did take couple few tries but it worked out in the end. I did notice that there a few things that doesn't work; voice match in the google assistant is greyed out, gmail app is missing the themes option and find my device app is unable to locate my phone.

    I have tried so many times to use Googlefier on my Huawei Mediapad pro, but I cannot stop the nag box from appearing. This is the box that says the device isn't Google Play Certified. I have tried various methods, including the itcfix, clearing the data and cache in the Google Apps, force stopping and rebooting the tablet. Nothing seems to work. I have reset the tablet, downgraded to reinstall Googlefier countless times, but nothing is working. The Play Store installs, and I can download apps, but the not certified box just keeps appearing repeatedly. Has anyone any ideas to sort this out, please?

    Dear all,
    Thanks to this thread and Bender's hard work, I decided to replace my P30 Pro by a P40 Pro. I received it yesterday, downgraded it, googlefierd it and upgraded it back to EMUI 11.
    Everything seems fine, GMS are working for most of my application and I don"t care about GMAIL notifications as I don't use that email client.
    Unfortunately, I tried this morning to reinstall Microsoft Authenticator as I use it for MFA and I cannot add my account : this application seems to use GMS to push notifications and refuses to add my account if I don't install Google Play services...
    Of course Google play services are installed (and working) but this applciation seems to have an issue with them.
    Does anyone had to manage this before and found a solution ?

    Hello everybody,

    Finally I managed to configure my MS Authenticator by doing the following :
    - Reset my P40 Pro and dowgrade it to 10.0.0.121.
    - Googlefier it then install MS Authenticator
    - Freeze Google Framework as in the Youtube video
    - Add my account to MS Authenticator
    - Unfreeze Google Framework

    As a result, MS Authenticator is configured with my accounts and I can approve requests.
    Of course, it doesn't notify when a new request arrives, but as I'm at the origin of the request, I know when I need to open the application, it's not an issue for me.

    Hope this helps (even if you potentially need to reset your phone to do this....)

    Thanks it worked! I've updated to emui 11 but now I need to add another Google account. Do I have to downgrade to emui 10.1.0121 (P40 Pro) again and do the whole thing over?

    Before asking any questions please read posts 2-5, check if your question has already been answered, in order to keep the thread clean.

    Also - try to ask questions in some sense they are understandable

    A simple: "IT doesn't work - will be ignored and possibly deleted, because it doesn't add to thread quality", instead you should describe the steps properly, and you will get an answer.

    I also encourage all of the members to keep the "alternative downgrade methods" to some other threads, which I will for sure link later.     Hi, at first thanks for this very clear process, but I realized, this is not working with matepad 10.4 (BAH3-W09).
    I downgraded successful to 10.0.118, but lzplay is not initialized.
    After I read 20 pages of this thread, it looks like the (C432) version of matepad is not googlefiered with this method. Please, update the original post about this device to help others not spend much time with that.

    -All of the firmware version that are in the download post I’ve downloaded from easy-firmware, yes I’ve paid 17$ to be able to download firmware for people, but you are welcome to get your firmware from a source which you prefer, please don’t pollute the thread with the firmware download links, there should be a separate thread for that

    Method 1

    0. Make backup..seriously, this will wipe your partitions and reflash them(your files will be gone)
    1. Download your firmware
    2. In case it’s from my uploads you just extract the “dload” folder to your usb/sd
    3. Turn off your phone
    4. Hold volume up and power, until you see the recovery (or. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztobeBHh4Fk if your phone doesn’t have volume keys)
    5. Select upgrade "Memory card / OTG update mode" and that’s it, it will first verify the firmware and flash

    Note: If method 1 doesn't work, try method 2.

    Method 2

    you need HiSuite 10.0.0.510 (find it and download, install it)
    1. -Open your dialer inside android
    -type *#*#2846579#*#*
    -tap on 2. "Veneer Informations"
    -tap on 1. "Version Info"
    -scroll down to "Base Software Version"
    -You will see something like "JNY-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.1.108"
    -Just ignore everything after LGRP2, means you need the "JNY-LGRP2" only
    -Type "JNY-LGRP2" or any string you find in that info - into textbox from step 1(in the hisuite proxy) and press step 1

    2. Find a suitable firmware, check that it's "FullOTA-MF" and not just OTA-MF, copy the url link next to the date, paste it into the "package url" inside the hisuite proxy
    3. Copy the text which is next to the date, on the webpage - paste it to the "firmware version" inside the hisuite proxy
    4. Press "Start proxy", connect the phone, authorize with HDB (you should know how to do that)
    5. press update in HiSuite - It will download the older firmware and install it

    IF method 1 doesn't work for you (stuck at 5%), try finding the firmware somewhere else, or do what I do

    1. find some service where you can download firmware (I use easy-firmware)
    2. pay 17$
    3. find your firmware, download it, extract using that weird ef extractor
    <- this is exactly what I do all the day when you ask me to upload you firmware

    What to check?
    1. device name
    -example ANA-NX9

    2. version
    -example C432 or C185 - just download the one for your device

    OR - try method 2 with hisuite

    You might be able to download the firmware using the free service here ,
    but this is something for the "method 2" for now. I will work on it to try to use the very same firmware you can download from there so you can use it with your SD or USB.
