I think it has been said that if a link is broken it;s just from overuse and it may or may not come back to life if you try again later(?)

I've just successfully got it working, after about 6 tries, couldn't work out what I was doing to break it, and then thought I'd try and do the install with my personal gmail account, and not my work GSuite account. And then it worked. So does that mean I can't use a GSuite account on this?
I'm amazed even the Barclays app installed :)

Whats the procedure for adding a new account now the Googlefier has completed and removed the earlier steps? Do I install MicroG? Or can I not add any other accounts?

And can I update the phone via OTA updates?
You Can't install MicroG once you install Goolefier.
It's either MicroG or Goolefier.

Can I allow the phone to update via OTA updates? As I have it seemingly all working now, I can do the last option of cleanup can't I? or should I leave it all well alone lol!

Thanks to this app I've been able to finally install the GSM services and the Play Store on my Huawei P40 Lite. I restored my phone to the factory settings, installed and run Googlefier and after that updated EMUI and uninstalled LZplay.
Now everything works like a charm... except for the location services. Every app that requires the GSM location services either fails to open or displays a white page where the map is supposed to show up.
Strangely, Google Maps works fine (even though it randomly crashes for no apparent reason). Is it a known issue? I couldn't find anything on the 90+ pages of this thread

yup, if all works well press the info button to report it, disable admin access for lzplay, delete googlefier, lzplay and the account manager, then update it

Pretty much, the only time u can add devices is during the installation, afterwhich you cant, unless u redo everything
oh wow, @bender_007 should update his first post about this.
So basically that means any password change, or swapping Google account, or if you somehow got logged out, means a phone wipe (if you've firmware upgraded).
Also, the more you firmware update after everything's gravy, the further you're away from being able to sign in again, since you'll need to downgrade to a googlefier-able version.

I had P40 Pro, ELS-N04, ELS-LGRP4. Upgraded to EMUI 11.
So I was able to downgrade to EMUI 10 by installing HiSuite 11, click upgrade and click the older version.
That took me to a EMUI10 .148.
Then I used the proxy with HiSuite 10:
ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131
This downgraded to .131 (it did indicate bad partition, which the corresponding system wipe action fixes it, scared me).
Then Googlefier works.

Guess, I'll stick with a version that works with Googlefier, and never system update again.
Then I just need to press that wipe button in Googlefier and start the process from scratch, whenever I need to change Google account stuff.

I'll need to test how well this whole process works a few times before I pass this phone to my wife, since it won't be a simple sign in.

Yes it's Not ideal and there is no work around. I don't know why people don't read post. It's there.
You can't change passwords. Everything you need to do is also there

Not properly. If done properly, you wouldn't getbthe notifications.
Yup, can confirm that. After running through the steps several times and again and again. Eventually everything falls into place and everything's signed in and no notifications.
lol, still can't figure out what step did I miss or didn't do properly.
But just keep backtracking and clearing and redoing, and eventually it'll all work haha.

Downgrade Help

Downgrade via usb/sd

You NEED USB-OTG -> see the picture

usbotg.jpg

Prerequisites

Where can I find the firmware?

transfer.png

Method 1

Note: If method 1 doesn't work, try method 2.

For troubleshooting – see the troubleshooting section

Method 2

you need HiSuite 10.0.0.510 (find it and download, install it)
1. -Open your dialer inside android
-type *#*#2846579#*#*
-tap on 2. "Veneer Informations"
-tap on 1. "Version Info"
-scroll down to "Base Software Version"
-You will see something like "JNY-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.1.108"
-Just ignore everything after LGRP2, means you need the "JNY-LGRP2" only
-Type "JNY-LGRP2" or any string you find in that info - into textbox from step 1(in the hisuite proxy) and press step 1

2. Find a suitable firmware, check that it's "FullOTA-MF" and not just OTA-MF, copy the url link next to the date, paste it into the "package url" inside the hisuite proxy
3. Copy the text which is next to the date, on the webpage - paste it to the "firmware version" inside the hisuite proxy
4. Press "Start proxy", connect the phone, authorize with HDB (you should know how to do that)
5. press update in HiSuite - It will download the older firmware and install it

Here is the image of how the procedure looks like: CLICK

DOWNLOAD Hisuite Proxy Modified

Hi Guys for those has a units of P40 pro only.
you need to do method 2, and follow the instructions.

-If your device is at the latest version of EMUI 11 you need to downgrade 3x

1. First downgrade and use the lates version of HiSuite.
2. you need the version of EMUI 10 at last digit of 10.1.0.182 (uninstall the HiSuite after downgrade)
3. you need the version of EMUI 10 at last digit of 10.1.0.176 (using HiSuite ver. 10.0.0.510)
4. you need the version of EMUI 10 at last digit of 10.1.0.131 (now LzPlay will now works)
5. Follow the main procedure on the first page how to use googlefier.

Thanks.

Hello
I would like to downgrade my Huawei p smart 2021
Currently:
PPA-LX2
10.1.1.135 (C432E4R2P1)
I CAN'T FIND A FIRMWARE
CAN YOU HELP ME ?
THANK YOU
According to what @bender_007 says we need a firmware downgrade, to 10.1.125 maximum, to install googlefier, the problem is that our P Smart 2021 phones need this firmware- PPAH-LGRP2 which is not found yet.
Even if the phone model is PPA-LX2 build number 10.1.1.135 (C432E4R4P1) or 10.1.1.145 (C432E4R4P1), the real firmware is PPAH-LGRP2, and PPA-LX2 firmware doesn`t work on our, phone.
I try to fiind 10.1.1.125 or an older version, i have not found nothing.
Maybe someone help us.

It's a new model after Google ban so even if you downgrade. You will not be able to install Google.

MicroG is the only way IMHO

Hello. Thank you for all your work on this workaround.
I have read all five posts and am trying to follow the process, but couldn't get the firmware downgrade to work. I have a P40 Lite JNY-LX1 running EMUI 10.1.0.261 (C432E1R6P1).

I could not find a more specific version, so I tried download the first firmware in your post, the one labelled:
P40 Lite
JNY-LX1
10.0.1.111(C432*****)

but when clicking Update mode, it starts the update (shows 5% for a very long time), but then reboots (never showing anything other than 5%) and the phone is unchanged (EMUI version stays the same, no wiping was done).

Did I use the wrong firmware?

You have to use Method 2 which should work on all Phones. You will need PC

I have tried so many times to use Googlefier on my Huawei Mediapad pro, but I cannot stop the nag box from appearing. This is the box that says the device isn't Google Play Certified. I have tried various methods, including the itcfix, clearing the data and cache in the Google Apps, force stopping and rebooting the tablet. Nothing seems to work. I have reset the tablet, downgraded to reinstall Googlefier countless times, but nothing is working. The Play Store installs, and I can download apps, but the not certified box just keeps appearing repeatedly. Has anyone any ideas to sort this out, please?

    Dear all,
Thanks to this thread and Bender's hard work, I decided to replace my P30 Pro by a P40 Pro. I received it yesterday, downgraded it, googlefierd it and upgraded it back to EMUI 11.
Everything seems fine, GMS are working for most of my application and I don"t care about GMAIL notifications as I don't use that email client.
Unfortunately, I tried this morning to reinstall Microsoft Authenticator as I use it for MFA and I cannot add my account : this application seems to use GMS to push notifications and refuses to add my account if I don't install Google Play services...
Of course Google play services are installed (and working) but this applciation seems to have an issue with them.
Does anyone had to manage this before and found a solution ?
    Thank you

the gfs must be frozen. on the other hand the store will no longer work but you can have the applications with an alternative store

    Hello everybody,

Finally I managed to configure my MS Authenticator by doing the following :
    - Reset my P40 Pro and dowgrade it to 10.0.0.121.
    - Googlefier it then install MS Authenticator
    - Freeze Google Framework as in the Youtube video
    - Add my account to MS Authenticator
    - Unfreeze Google Framework

As a result, MS Authenticator is configured with my accounts and I can approve requests.
Of course, it doesn't notify when a new request arrives, but as I'm at the origin of the request, I know when I need to open the application, it's not an issue for me.

Hope this helps (even if you potentially need to reset your phone to do this....)

Thanks it worked! I've updated to emui 11 but now I need to add another Google account. Do I have to downgrade to emui 10.1.0121 (P40 Pro) again and do the whole thing over?

    Wecome to Googlefier,

After a successful tool for LG G2 and LG G3 owners (AutoRec), but after a long pause, here is something new and I hope useful

Googlefier is a simple tool, designed to help you install GMS on your Huawei/Honor device

Please read the Q/A on POST #2 < click

Downgrade help is on POST #3 < click

Firmware Downloads (c432 global only) are on POST #4 < click

Troubleshooting is on POST #5 < click

Before asking any questions please read posts 2-5, check if your question has already been answered, in order to keep the thread clean.

Also - try to ask questions in some sense they are understandable

A simple: "IT doesn't work - will be ignored and possibly deleted, because it doesn't add to thread quality", instead you should describe the steps properly, and you will get an answer.

I also encourage all of the members to keep the "alternative downgrade methods" to some other threads, which I will for sure link later. Also please don't spam with firmware links, rather PM me and I will add it to POST #4, let's try to keep the thread clean. As time goes by, I'll try to add more firmware and cover more of the Q/A and Troubleshooting POST/Section so everyone can help himself / herself by simple power of reading

As always, any donation is highly appreciated and welcome, since a lot of time has been invested into this tool and in research

Hi, at first thanks for this very clear process, but I realized, this is not working with matepad 10.4 (BAH3-W09).
I downgraded successful to 10.0.118, but lzplay is not initialized.
After I read 20 pages of this thread, it looks like the (C432) version of matepad is not googlefiered with this method. Please, update the original post about this device to help others not spend much time with that.

    Downgrade Help

    Downgrade via usb/sd

You NEED USB-OTG -> see the picture

    usbotg.jpg

    Prerequisites

    1. Check your firmware version(emui)
    2. Check the stats about the max supported version for Googlefier/Lzplay
    3. Download the firmware which is supported
    4. Make backup…

Where can I find the firmware?
-All of the firmware version that are in the download post I’ve downloaded from easy-firmware, yes I’ve paid 17$ to be able to download firmware for people, but you are welcome to get your firmware from a source which you prefer, please don’t pollute the thread with the firmware download links, there should be a separate thread for that

    transfer.png

    Method 1

    0. Make backup..seriously, this will wipe your partitions and reflash them(your files will be gone)
    1. Download your firmware
    2. In case it’s from my uploads you just extract the “dload” folder to your usb/sd
    3. Turn off your phone
    4. Hold volume up and power, until you see the recovery (or. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztobeBHh4Fk if your phone doesn’t have volume keys)
    5. Select upgrade "Memory card / OTG update mode" and that’s it, it will first verify the firmware and flash

Note: If method 1 doesn't work, try method 2.

For troubleshooting – see the troubleshooting section

    Method 2

you need HiSuite 10.0.0.510 (find it and download, install it)
    1. -Open your dialer inside android
    -type *#*#2846579#*#*
    -tap on 2. "Veneer Informations"
    -tap on 1. "Version Info"
-scroll down to "Base Software Version"
-You will see something like "JNY-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.1.108"
-Just ignore everything after LGRP2, means you need the "JNY-LGRP2" only
-Type "JNY-LGRP2" or any string you find in that info - into textbox from step 1(in the hisuite proxy) and press step 1

    2. Find a suitable firmware, check that it's "FullOTA-MF" and not just OTA-MF, copy the url link next to the date, paste it into the "package url" inside the hisuite proxy
    3. Copy the text which is next to the date, on the webpage - paste it to the "firmware version" inside the hisuite proxy
    4. Press "Start proxy", connect the phone, authorize with HDB (you should know how to do that)
    5. press update in HiSuite - It will download the older firmware and install it

Here is the image of how the procedure looks like: CLICK

    DOWNLOAD Hisuite Proxy Modified

    Note:

IF method 1 doesn't work for you (stuck at 5%), try finding the firmware somewhere else, or do what I do

    1. find some service where you can download firmware (I use easy-firmware)
    2. pay 17$
    3. find your firmware, download it, extract using that weird ef extractor
<- this is exactly what I do all the day when you ask me to upload you firmware

    What to check?
    1. device name
    -example ANA-NX9

    2. version
-example C432 or C185 - just download the one for your device

OR - try method 2 with hisuite

    Note 2

You might be able to download the firmware using the free service here ,
but this is something for the "method 2" for now. I will work on it to try to use the very same firmware you can download from there so you can use it with your SD or USB.
Not promising anything, but I think it's doable - I just don't have a device ATM and I don't want to bother anyone risking a device
