I don't get how you guys are upgrading after a year or less. Are you paying some unsubsidized price or are you just long term customers?
If your number is the primary number on a family plan with multiple numbers is one way you can get an early upgrade. Exactly how early I think is based on how much you pay ATT each month for you service.

some of us just like phones enough we have a pile laying around. while i'm due for an upgrade, and will be getting an sgsII. i may also be getting the prime when that is released. between 2 extra smart phones, and a microcell. I have enough stuff to sell to hopefully cover half the a retail priced phone. not to mention the wife will throw $100 my way for a hand me down that is only weeks old. play the game right and you can grab a new phone yearly for the cost of an upgraded line, without the upgrade

Really, I wouldn't advise people to just randomly flash one of those. Flashing a kernel for the international variant breaks the capacitive touchkeys.

I love this phone, but having difficulty adjusting to the smaller screen size coming from Infuse..
My corporate store had 7 in stock. There were 5 people waiting for them to open to get one. I got the first one. They only had two left an hour later.

Went to BB to pick up my pre order and half way through transaction computers froze storewide lol waited through a couple reboots and after a while they were like, we're so sorry but come back a little later so you don't have to wait any longer! So it's back to bb a little later lol
