Now, if you wouldnt mind... could you not play with it at all for the next 12 hours and just have it run a video loop while connected to 3g and wifi to guage the battery?

Come on, think of the service that you'll be providing. We'd totally owe you one.

:)
heres a paragraph form engadgets xoom review to give u an idea on battery life

Battery life on the Xoom was excellent. Beyond excellent, actually -- some of the best performance we've seen on a slate. Running a video on loop with the screen set at 65 percent brightness, we were able to get playback for nearly eight and a half hours (8:20 to be exact). Motorola claims up to ten, so we weren't far off the mark at all. We had a few background tasks going on, and both WiFi and 3G radios were active. We could easily see maximizing this if you're in airplane mode with a slightly lower brightness setting.

All the major sites have posted their reviews and all concur that battery life is awesome. So who cares about the size as long as you get the life?
Its all about the power consumption and not about the battery size

Sent from my TMO custom Tab
Because if this thing has a 3250 mah battery life and gets 10 hours of video, there are two important things we can derive from that.

1) Motorola did something drastic to limit battery consumption such as reduce the max brightness of the screen

or

2) The Galaxy tab 10.1 which has a 6860mah battery will be able to play video for nearly 24 hours straight.

I would so be getting the GTab2 if that was true^

I don't know if HDMI and Micro SD are worth that though lol.

I don't know why they didnt make it s touch thicker and give it a battery life that is well beyond all competition. I wonder if the big toshiba tablet will have a big battery.

I thought the Toshiba tablet was confirmed to have a battery in the 2000's mah. I was taken aback when I read it because it seemed small as hell to me.

Yea, 2030 mah, deplorable if true. Although as noted in that article that was just a display unit.
