How do the port "flaps" feel, do they look likely to break or are they quite solid?

Well, at the beginning, they are pretty hard to put in place correctly, due to rubber sealing, so they rather won't open by themselves. The straps that connect them to phone are made of soft plastic, not rubber, so I don't think they gonna break any time soon. I don't have experience with such things so I can't tell you more. I am not going to pull them to hard just to check, sorry :p

When i think about it, there isn't really any reason to open the flaps that often. SIM card and SD card; fine. That's a one time thing (for most people). The one flap that'll get a lot of exercise is the one for the minijack, but that can easily be solved by purchasing a bluetooth headset. Charging is done by using the dock.

Well, my didn't have a dock included, and I they are not available for purchase in Poland at the moment. I'm thinking about buying Sony's BT headset, but I stil try to decide which one

No dock? What (dangerous) game is Sony playing? I've read several places that the dock is included in the box, and some other places says that it's not included. I demand an answer! :p

So I too got my japanese purple xz yesterday used it for a day and today it just died. I'm so sad. Back on my 1x now. The phone was amazing while it was working though. The xperia launch can be a little laggy at times so I switched to atom launcher. Camera was really nice. I had a 64 gb sd in it.

What do you meen by "died"? Black screen, not charging, no response for power botton? Mine did something like that once. Had to do hard power off (vol up + power for 15 sec). Than everything was OK. It just hanged in a strange way.

There is another topic where some other guy sad he had the same behaviour.
