Hey Conap... I can't find your kernel source. I'd like to download it and compile it with loopback device support. Can you make it available again, or else maybe you can direct me a kernel that already has it for Eris?

No problem...is the loopback support something needed for your Debian/Lenny project?
Yessir... my logic is that most people aren't going to want some custom rom to run Lenny off of a partition, but that they'd be happy to flash a kernel from recovery. Seems more streamlined to me; download flashable zip with kernel, debian image, and script/apk, flash it, run script/apk, voila.

When this was forcibly included in that version of KaosFroyo, I really wasn't a fan because I seemed to make my home screens react more slowly. But now that I'm running CELEB, maybe this new version will run better. Maybe I'll just hang on to it until I'm done with Angry Birds.
