i know we should not ask for features. but would it be possible to ad dt2w?
older huawei devices did support this feature but with the p9 they removed dt2w support.

I would love to add it, but since I don't actually have the device, it is very difficult. I can attempt, but whatever I put out might be extremely broken. I'll start taking a look at the other Huawei kernel sources first.

Second thought, how many would prefer a TWRP zip rather than a boot.img (or both)? I can do both no problem, but I need to know how many people would like it first so that I don't waste time ;)

At the time of download, I think there was no NCS version (i may be mistaken).

Want to re try the NCS version now but link is down :(
Basketbuild has been on/off for maintenance a lot recently. I think I'll switch over to uploading on androidfilehost.

The reason why you face problems is because of ramdisk conflicts between NCS ROM and the stock kernel. Flashing the NCs version should fix things for you

Uploaded mirrors to AndroidFileHost. I've decided to stick with Basketbuild for now because I have it all set up, and I don't have much time to do the same for AFH.

Find it here.

I've just flashed the NCS version. Unfortunately, the camera still force close.

Attached is the logcat.
Hmm, I don't think you've done the logcat correctly... Unfortunately, you're currently the only one who seems to have this problem (that im aware of)

tested on upstreamed stock. SIM issue exists halfway and the cam FCs. Theres 2 choices: The upstream is not right, or the kernel itself doesnt work properly on b166 as of camera updates.

May be the case :/. The kernel is built on the latest source (2016-05-05 from Huawei). I don't see anything more upstream than this on their source download page. I have not added anything into the kernel that could potentially break the camera.
