The Streak 7 is a perfect navigation device: sturdy, quite bright screen, Gorilla Glass, huge internal memory. For me it would make sense to buy a new one now and use it for the rest of your life for navigation. In a car charging and the high power consumptionare no problems.

I use Sygic (google play). Comes with Tom Tom charts. They promise free updates for life. Do not know about the 2.2. May be you have to update.
