GPS not working

I just bought an Honor 5x brand new. The GPS doesn't seem to be working at all. Is there a fix to this or should I just return this phone?

I'm having similar issues with GPS. Does not lock on or stay locked on if it does.

Just registered to say that GPS isn't working well for me either. I have the 6.0.1 update installed on an otherwise stock, non-rooted, phone.

Are you guys on 6.0.1 or still on Lollypop?

GPS worked well for me out of the box, and continued to work well after a few updates (including the most recent MM). I'd return the phone and get a new one...

It's an issue with Marshmallow and the GPS. If you google Marshmallow GPS Not Working you will find a link to Issue 190376 under Android's Issue Tracker where hundreds of people with phones using the Marshmallow update having this same issue.

I'm also having this issue after upgrading to Marshmallow and will most likely be re-downing the Lollipop firmware from June 4th and downgrading. I had no issues on Lollipop, only after upgrading. I also did as much troubleshooting as I could including factory resetting my phone.

TL;DR It's a known Google issue. No ETA on them fixing it.
