Hey guys,

Looking for a bit of advice, I have been searching for a bit of GPS software which will track and record info. I have TomTom for my navigation but what I am looking for is something that will track distance traveled/max speed/average speed and that kinda thing. Just looking to use it when I am on my mountian bike or snowboard to see what speeds and stuff I am hitting.

Not had any joy finding anything yet but I'm sure someone has come across some software like that!

Cheers

I'm currently reviewing Vito ActiveTrace, which will also provide similar functionality.

The vito products seem generally good, although I'll let you know if my hardware goes up in smoke.

A really poor man's way to do this would be to just use something like VisualGPS (I think) or any GPS app that has logging capability.
This will squirt out the GPS data as you move, and that can probably be loaded into a PC app for "playback" and analysis.

Ive tried them all, Navio, Pathaway, Beeline, GPS Tuner and countless others that I can't remember. I found the best by a mile was GPS Dash, all the others had some feature missing or something I didn't like.
