Ok so I'm posting this both because I feel I have found a way to get a very nice, much fuller and more even sound out of the Beats ear buds, but also posting it because I am curious to see if anyone else would have the same opinion. With these settings, music sounds GREAT, and I have tried several different types of music, from classical and ambient to industrial rock and underground hip hop. This seems to be a good (but not perfect) universal setting.

I am attaching the DSP Manager apk, you'll need to install this. Also, I leave Beats Audio ENABLED. So once DSP installed, go into "headset", and set the options as shown in the screenshot also attached below. Note, the first option, Dynamic Range Compression, which is cut off in the screen shot, is UNCHECKED. Try this out and let me know what you guys think!

Beats works for me in Pandora.... and also works with other headphones. These settings SHOULD sound good even without Beats, and the DSP Manager EQ settings are universal.

You don't mix to EQ's together people. And Beats EQ does NOT work in any app other than the HTC app. You are mistaken if you think otherwise. You either use the HTC app w/beats on/off. Or any other app you want with DSP/Equalizer/etc.

I had a question about this app. On my Rezound I scanned the QR code and tried browsing here to download the apk and both ways it still says that the apk isn't compatible with my device and my device doesn't know how to handle the file type. Any idea why that is and how I can fix it? I have Unknown Sources checked and USB debugging on (if that would matter here). Thanks for the reply

I hope you don't mind me asking. Where did this program come from? Does it have anything to do with the "HTC enhancer" option in the stock program?

I'm not sure it necessarily sounds better with dynamic range compression on but it certainly sounds different. I would have to listen longer to decide if I really like it better.

On the plus side, rolling the treble off makes the headphone jack interference a little less obvious.

I do like the effect better than Beats, which I was not into.

I use to use DSP in my incredible, I'm glad to see I can use it on my Rezound. I found it does sound a little better, and I am able to use beats and dsp at the same time. I did get a couple of dsp force closes but nothing major, thanks

I honestly don't know for sure where the dsp manager app came from initially, but it started showing up in most of the custom Inc ROMs a while ago.

I'm glad to see other people are enjoying the settings and I'm not aurally retarded :D

Has anyone had luck trying to match the beats EQ settings so that we have a common solution for all apps?

I'm an audiophile and always looking to improve my sound. Using DSP manager along with beats ON does bring out the clarity. These are my settings.

I had power amp but it would randomly start paying music and ran in the back ground and start playing whenever I plugged up head phones.

All you have to do is turn off that "feature" in the power amp settings.

Power amp>settings>headset options>uncheck resume on headset connect.

I turned that off 5 minutes afteri installed it.
