Yeah I tried to install this over a deodexed version of mb5 on a i9305 but then the status bar is not there.
So I am wondering if you could make a version for the i9305 versions?

Nevermind it works just had to reinstall the stock rom and then apply the mod

Two quick questions:
a) Can the mod only be installed through CWM? Or is there another installation method (stock recovery zip install / replace file through file manager)
b) Does the transparent statusbar MOD make both the lockscreen and homescreen / app drawer's statusbar transparent?

Fixing status bar color for build XXELL4

Hello everyone,

Just updated my S3 to 4.1.2 and the color of the status bar changed to grey...

I'm not really an expert (though I did manage to root my phone) - I tried to find related files to this problem and saw that there aren't any files related to the XXELL4 build in this and other threads (I did see one file that relates to the XXDLL4 build) and I wouldn't know exactly what to do with these files either

Can you help me fixing this issue?

Extract the zip file in this thread.. find folder sysmteui.apk ..in there ..a file named resource.asc I think

Then, pull ur systemui.apk

Open with 7zip

Replace the file

Then push back to /system/app

Set permission to rw-r-r

Hey OP, you should change the title to i9300 and i9305 versions. I think the s3 lte users will love this lil mod. I do and I appreciate your work.
I really hate the greyed out status bar. Some of my wallpapers look so stupid with it!!
