Grip Tape?

I'm seriously considering buying some kind of grip tape from a sporting goods store and putting it on the back of my TouchPad. These things are too slick. Trying to type with it in my lap is a bear since it won't stay put. Something with a little grip to it might also save it from a trip to the floor. Sure it might ruin the aesthetics, but it'd be easy to remove. Thoughts or suggestions from anyone that might have some grip tape laying around?

I put on a skin from Decalgirl.com. Fits perfectly, increases grip, eliminates the nasty fingerprints on the slick black casing of the TP. Looks way better than tape.

Honestly get a sleeve or folding case, grip tape will destroy it and eventually wear holes in your pants if you're using hockey or skaters grip tape.
I can't imagine that I'm going to wear a hole in my pants from a tablet sitting in my lap. I already have a case on order but I'm not sure if I'll want to use the case all the time.

I'm not spending $20+ on a skin for a discontinued tablet that cost me $99.

It doesn't really matter what it cost you. What matters is its value. Would you not bother getting a case for a gift? Surely a gift would have cost you nothing whatsoever so would't really deserve a case?
