What does the splash screen have to do with the rom? I don't think it matters.

i keep getting the "FAILED!" message when flashing the file in TWRP and CWM.
Ive renamed the file, redownloaded, tried installing CWM (thinking it was a TWRP error) and no dice... im at a loss here. Im running paranoid android 3+, but that shouldnt have anything to do with it, unless the kernel doesnt allow for custom splashes.
Any ideas?

can you make a Splash screen of the default samsung galaxy s3 gt i9300 with "powered by android" logo below??? PLEASE!!!Made a few splash screens to use with your Galaxy S3. These are splash screens, not boot animations! Splash screens display before your boot animation. Be sure to check out the link in the thanks area, and download the tool for yourself and start making your own! I just made these for a few quick choices for those without computer access.
Tested on a Sprint SGS3, but may work for other carriers. I only use TWRP, should work just fine in CWM but I personally haven't tested.
I will start by saying I take no credit for ANY of the images used, modified or unmodified. If an image I used belongs to you, feel free to PM me and I will take it down or add thanks. If you use a splash, hit the thanks button.
It's downloaded, now what?
Flash in TWRP or CWM. I suggest wiping cache and dalvic cache before and after flashing (As I do with every single file I flash, no matter what it is). If you don't know how to flash this, don't do it. Plain and simple!
Warning:
I take no responsibility if this destroys your phone, or if you get electrocuted while flashing it. Flashing ANYTHING can possibly brick your phone, this is no exception. But where are the zip files? I want the default Samsung galaxy s3 splash screen BUT with the android logo at the bottom like the new phones nowadays.
