Hey, so I'm currently using Havoc GSI with Eureka kernel on my A205F and so far so good, but there's one little problem with my USB debugging witch I can't authorize or even revoke it. Could someone help me here, please?

What is GSI?
GSI stands for Generic System Image and will allow you to install an alternative ROM on your Galaxy A20?
No longer will we be restricted to the Samsung ROM.

These ones worked for me. If they don't work for you, go to the list of all GSIs. There are plenty to choose from. Select arm64 ab files.

Pi GSIs
1. AOSP 9 v119

Updated to XSA-A205YNDVS6BTL1 (Australian December update) and found that Samsung has created more inter-dependencies between their apps to stop certain users removing their spyware, adware and walled gardens...😡 Like a noose slowly tightening....
Not one to be readily herded, I have spat the dummy on persevering with a rooted and debloated OneUI stock ROM and have loaded the latest Havoc Quack Vanilla ROM (Havoc-OS-v3.12-20201230-Official-arm64-ab) to see how much progress has been made with GSI ROMs.
First impression is good. A good mix of useful customizations over the base Lineage and perky performance with Eureka v5.0 kernel. Will give it a good workout to see if there are any show-stoppers.

Edit: Tried latest PHH Android 11 GSI to see how that went.... It boots up nicely but reboots after a few seconds so a no go for now.
Havoc 3.12 is still behaving nicely.

If you're interested to test, there's a LineageOs gsi here
Also an ungoogled gsi called LeOs here
Currently having ZRom v5 which is heavily debloated stock so i might try them too...

@IamTheBRAVE I had a look at the LeOS ROM but it is based on the same PHH v300j GSI so probably inherits the same bugs. I tried the vndklite version of PHH roar because I still want to have /System RW. I also was running Eureka v5.0 permissive kernel and Magisk 21.2 at the time so that may influence the result of constant rebooting. Interested to see if anyone else has managed to get an Android 11 GSI running successfully on the A205?

Guess who was able to install PHH AOSP 11 GSI? This guy☝😁
It's running good, no reboot. Installed the vndklite-FOSS version to keep su. Needs some getting used to. Lots of jumping through hoops to get around Gapps,
-aurora store anonymous login not working so downloaded my apps from apkmirror.
-no youtube, the alternative NewPipe can't connect,
-Adaway is running as nonroot, root method needs magisk.

I installed using physwizz instructions, had Z-Rom v5 installed first (Kernel Eureka 4.4.3 Q/R)
Wipe caches, data, system
Flash arm64-vndklite-foss.img
Reboot.
Restore sms and call data ( tried the sms backup app but it restored messages, and call without contact names. Had to restore from sim)
I'll try the gapps version next week probably, can't see myself using foss apps indefinitely...

@IamTheBRAVE Thanks for reporting your success. I saw the PHH updates and was wondering if the reboot issue had been fixed.
I'll wait for Havoc to be released based on latest PHH 11 code.... gives it that extra little something that is missing in pure AOSP ;)

@IamTheBRAVE What kernel/boot.img are you using for R11? Any major hardware bugs in latest PHH based Roar GSIs for A205?
I always use ZRom v5 as a base ( a Q custom rom is a prerequisite of GSI 11) it uses kernel Eureka 4.3.1 and frankly haven't noticed any hardware bugs but haven't used all features. (i'm using CAOS based on PHH's v300.l. Some software bugs (could be CAOS related) : some default apps not set ( dialer, messenger...) Resulting in InCallUI screen not appearing, can't hang up or answer calls (fixable). Also Play Services crashing when checking info so can't add gmail account (still not fixed).
I'm in the process of starting over fresh (vanilla this time then flashing gapps)
Is anyone else trying GSI 11? I can post the install instructions i'm using, with physwizz's permission...

@IamTheBRAVE I was trying to run with latest stock OneUI as base and Eureka r5.0 GSI kernel and have rebooting issues every few seconds. Have to conclude it is something in the stock Vendor partition and/or using Eureka r5.0.
Unfortunately most, if not all credible GSIs are based on PHH's incredible work and progress on Q based GSIs ended at PHH v222. This means we have no choice but to embrace Roar based GSIs into the future once they have less bugs than the last of the Quack versions....
Ever get the feeling we are all just Hamsters on a Hamster wheel?

@jajk you mean like this?
😄
Stock vendor did not work for me. I used ZRom 5. Attached you'll find the instruction from one website I more or less followed and the install procedure I used. Basically, you need to have a custom ROM (with vendor) then DM verity, then flash gsi ( multiple reboots and wipes/format in between cause TWRP doesn't show the fbe error right away only after system reboot-bootloop.
Now I have my base installed correctly and I switch gsi after wiping caches, system and format data. Sometimes when switching between variants, eg. BgS > BvS , some files subsist and create errors (happened on one gsi at least, so taking precautions)

Edit to add that I had constant random reboots with one gsi only (Corvus) didn't keep it long enough to investigate.
Now I'm on Caos BvZ + BitGapps (needs system partition resize) very satisfied with the result, might stay on it...
