I have now tried both versions of MSM Xtended GSI and they are both Excellent ROMS !!
- [GSI] MSM Xtended XP9 Release v19. [ARM64 A-A/B/ARM32A]
- [GSI] MSM Xtended XQ. Release v3.0 [QAndroid 10.0]
I got the Android v10 flashed and running fine, but I could NOT get the Android v9.0
to flash / install. I just kept getting a boot-loop from the warning screens. I was able to finally
get it to install so I just wanted to give you all a
"Heads Up" if you are having trouble also.
This is what I was doing
as per instructions for the Android v9.0 -
- Boot to TWRP
- Install the GSI Image
- Wipe Both Caches and System
- Flash GSI_FIX_BOOT.zip
- Reboot System
It just goes right into a Boot-Loop now, so
As per instructions, I go back to TWRP
- Wipe Data ???
- Flash Magisk-v19
- Reboot
It again goes back into a Boot Loop !!

==================================
Ok so that does NOT work for me. What I did to get it to work was, do NOT
not wipe system
Only Wipe the two caches, then flash GSI_FIX_BOOT.zip, Reboot, wait about 5 minutes
and the OS started up and ran just fine.
If you are having issues also, just do what I did and you should have no problem.
- Boot to TWRP.
- Install the GSI Image.
- Wipe Both Caches.
- Flash GSI_FIX_BOOT.zip
- Flash Magisk v.19 if Needed
- Reboot System.
- Wait 3-5 minutes
- Enjoy
Good Luck !
