@Hami_Do I guess disabling SuperUser in System>Misc features isn’t enough in order to try flashing latest Magisk. I know it’s unsupported now, but there seems to be some moves in this direction. I don’t care about safetynet etc I’m going to install Fdroid and alternative App Store. In recap what should I do(with SuperUser) to be able to at least try(successfully/or not) flash Magisk. In case of failure I always can flash back your cool rom.
For now there is no working magisk for A11 gsi a-only unlike a/b , I have tested many methods (here an example) to make it work vainly :(

Fluid-rum v1.1 for hi6250 emui8 devices

I've installed this ROM (PRA-LX1 with firmware 8.0.0.402) and It's very stable. It's now my daily driver. I've not encountered yet any reboot or annoying bug.

The only problem i've noticed so far is that it's impossible to write using swype method with the stock keyboard.

Tried to unlock bootloader. Sadly my phone can't get downgraded so unless I'm mistaken the only way to do this is with the pinout thing?

Sigh...

edit: Nvm, tried again and it's now showing the downgrade option.

Update:
Unlocked bl successfully.
Installed TWRP
Wiped System/Data/Cache/Dalvik
Tried to install the img but the internal storage was encrypted.
Formatted internal storage.
Copied over the img and gapps
Installed the image as system image.
Rebooted (was shown a warning the I had no OS installed by TRWP)
Phone showed boot animation.
Stays there for like 10 mins or so.
Reboots
Goes into eRecovery.
Thought I did something wrong.
Used erecovery to restore
Phone booted back to Android 8 EMUI 8
Went into bootloader
Flashed recovery again
Started over
Same thing.

Is this because my internal storage was encrypted?

L10nH34Rt,

Try it rom + decrypt data
[ROM] Bliss v12.8 gapps mod for P10 lite - Hami_DO

Flash rom + TWRP install via Minimal ADB and Fastboot

Copy rom.img +twrp to folder Minimal ADB and Fastboot ..
Connect the phone to the PC -- Fastboot Mode.
How-to-Unlock-Bootloader-on-Huawei-P20-Fastboot-Mode.jpg

Open Minimal ADB -- enter the command

fastboot flash recovery twrp_p10_lite_0.5_test .img

fastboot reboot

reboot TWRP --
photo_2019-08-02_14-46-26-jpg.4800730

- decrypt data by flashing fstab.hi6250b.zip ( look in huawei 7x section) copy SDcard
Install the zip via TWRP

- format data ( tape yes ) and reboot to emui8 to check if data is decrypted in settings/security
- Go to twrp and
- wipe data cache system

reboot Fastboot Mode. Open Minimal ADB -- enter the command
Unzip the downloaded rom Bless-v12.8-mod-arm64a-gapps-hi6250_2.img.xz
and copy img to Minimal ADB folder

fastboot flash system Bless-v12.8-mod-arm64a-gapps-hi6250_2.img

after completed install
fastboot reboot

wait for the system to load
Sorry for my English

Ok another update.

After successfully booting into A11 without wiping system coming from stock, I had several bugs (GPS not working, phone laggy overall), but at least it booted.

I now tried wiping again but this time also wiping system as per the installation instructions and all these bugs are gone.

So if anyone runs into this problem like I had, try installing the GSI without wiping system but only data/cache/dalvik, booting into A11 then going back into TWRP and this time follow the instructions to the T.

@DarkJoker360

Thanks for your work. I installed the Volte fix. I get the options like in your screenshot when I search for it, but clicking on them takes me to SIM1 options and they are nowhere to be found.

My carrier supports Volte and Vowifi and I was using them on this phone when back on stock ROM.

If you want me to test anything else out, let me know.

p.s. forcing volte by messing with my APN settings makes my phone lose data connection after like 3-4 minutes. It just shows "3G" instead of LTE and I have no data connection.

@Hami_Do will Fluid-rum be maintained(updated). Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to impose any pressure. This rom is just so cool that it would be pity if it was abandoned.

Cheers!
Unfortunately no, because I'm not a developer nor a builder, I'm only a porter and fixer who try from time to time to port some GSIs and adapt them to hi6250
Here the original fluid ab which I have ported it and fixed.

Finally magisk working on a-only R gsis :cowboy:
After debugging kmsg , bootloop was caused by missing sepolicy from system_ext ..

    Installation:
    1- Install magisk apk
    2- Go to twrp & flash MAGISKA11-a-only
    3- Flash Magisk-v22-canary-phh
    4- Reboot and enjoy

Long live @Hami_Do !!! You really made my day(y)

    @hamedsolo
Magisk-v22(22001)-Canary-phh from the above post with its apk should work on Q too, ( be careful no need to MAGISKA11-Aonly zip on Q ).

If anyone has problem with enabling bluetooth aptX codec, here’s working solution. Install as Magisk module, reboot and enjoy.

I want to share some GSIs manual fixes for hi6250 (emui8) devices as many of them they missed huawei patches or ignored them.

To be honest most credits of the fixes go to our hi6250's active devs Haky , DarkJoker360 , Dil3mm4 & of course Phh.

The fixes made after many comparisons between stock, DSSIs & different GSIs builds & versions.

    Gsi Installation:
1 - Wipe system data cache & dalvik
2 - Flash system_arm64_aonly.img in system image partition , boot up & look for bugs
    3 - Flash the fix

Fixes could fixe bootloop , sdcards bug ( not detected ) , camera/torch toggle , offline charging , Real battery capacity ( 3000mah ) , GPS and automatic APN detect .

*More posts will be added as updates if any fix successfully tested
