[GSI][ROM][ CURTANA | JOYEUSE | EXCALIBUR][11.0][AOSP+GAPPS][15/01/21]

Just installed this GSI (after the 168 hours from Xiaomi) and it runs fine in joyeuse except for a few bugs:

1- Sometimes, the headphone doesn't work, if you plug it, it doesn't work, the speaker will be still active.
2- While using BlackPlayer, the volume is too loud that the music gets distorted, really distorted in a bad way.
3- A little bug that BlackPlayer doesn't recognize the SD Card to scan for music, you need to manually scan (selecting the folders).

That's all i could find for now, the rest is pretty much fine, tested in a Redmi Note 9 Pro (joyeuse).

1. Havn't experienced this, are you sure you haven't touched the Phh audio settings (please dont touch them)
2. Are you using some sort of eq on that app? all my audio sounds fine, i did increase the default output volume since Xiaomi's def were way too low but i made sure to avoid any clipping issues
3. Sounds like issues with 'blackplayer' , please contact them , nothing i can help with im adraid

1- Nope, it happens randomly by the way.
2- Hmm don't think so, not using anything.
3- Yeah, it's not a big deal, it's easy to fix by the way.

But... Maybe I'm having those issues because I came from MIUI 12?

Anyone experiencing issues when playing audio via bluetooth? For example I tried listening to music in my car but no sound coming from the car. I tried with Youtube Music app and Sportify.
On the other hand if I'm calling via bluetooth in car the sound works perferctly

This happed when I installed latest update 08/12/20 and firmware V12.0.2.0.QJWMIXM. On previous build the music in car was working fine.

Could it be problem with the firmware?

@sooti, can you switch to Google Sans font in your build if possible? It looks more clean and will complement the pixel accent and GApps.

This rom is really awesome with great battery life but I faced a problem in charging when the phone is off. When it turns off the redmi logo shows for a moment after that the charging animation is shown for a brief moment and then it keeps on looping.

@sooti according to some google results, flashing stock rom will not reenable dm_verity and verified boot (is that the same?), can i just reenable everything via the console in fastboot or is there anything I need to flash?

Sure it will... not sure who told you that... just run the stock script and let it flash and lock bootloader

Just one thing, how can I make the screen brightness lower. Currently at its lowest, it still is too bright specially for the night usage. Any help/suggestions
