[GSI][UNOFFICIAL][11] Pixel Experience & Pixel Experience Plus

I got this ROM flashed on my phone successfully. One main issue I am experiencing at the moment is I do not have a cellular connection. My carrier is Verizon. It shows Verizon in the status bar. Though when I go to network settings, Mobile Networks is grayed out and when I tap Mobile Plan it pops up a message saying Unknown SIM Operator. Not sure what to do. Has anyone experienced this with VZW and managed to fix it?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I went into PPH Treble Settings, tapped IMS Features, installed the IMS APK, selected request IMS network, and force the presence of 4G calling settings. Still no cell signal after doing those steps.

Hey @GCPDetective would you happen to be able to write up a guide on getting Pixel Experience running? I've followed all the steps to unlock the bootloader, flashed the vbmeta.img and now im just hitting a wall when flashing the Pixel Experience image, it stops and says there is no directory or file when writing system_a. and then immediately fails
I am trying it on XT2113-2. It is definitely not doing it for me.

If I try something like...
Code:
fastboot erase system_b
I am getting:
Code:
Erasing 'system_b' (bootloader) Permission denied
FAILED (remote: '')
fastboot: error: Command failed

If I try something like...
Code:
fastboot -w flash system_b PixelExperience_Plus_arm64-ab-12.1-20220825-UNOFFICIAL.img
I am getting:
Code:
Invalid sparse file format at header magic
Resizing 'system_b' FAILED (remote: '')
fastboot: error: Command failed

I think that means I am not in RW mode. I see that there's a thread about this.

However, I've tried installing LineageOS 18.1 and Havoc-OS-5.7 and both seemed to at least install without having to touch that. I just want something I can have usable in maybe a few days to a week so I'll just see if I can get Havoc-OS working well enough. So far, it looks very good (but I haven't even added service to the phone yet).

Sorry if noob, but which .img file am I flashing for this device? And does the .img include everything the typical .zip file ROMs include? system.img is one of like 10 files that get flashed. Thank you!
arm64 ab to system, but don't try to flash it. Our device uses super.img so just linking to a GSI is not really useful. No idea why this was posted.

I flashed it on my device but I had to also flash vbmeta as well. No issues for now. I'll link the thread where I got the vbmeta image from in a few minutes.

Also Motorola G 5G KIEV has hidden charging / notification LED, but it is not avaiable with standard software.

So you were able to flash a system img on a super a/b device? Why not share any helpful information as to how you achieved that? I've been able to do it successfully but only once and not with this ROM. It was about a year ago and data/telephony was a known bug so without being able to use the phone and data I ended up ditching the GSI about an hour after finally getting it installed. I think TWRP was what enabled me to really get it going but I could be wrong.

Plenty of tutorials in the guides section for this device. I used those tutorials plus the vbmeta image I linked to in my previous posts.

My guess is he didn't actually achieve the flash lol

I did and it looks like others in this thread were successful as well. Only thing I haven’t got working is BT but others seem to have gotten it working successfully. You’re on your own from here though because according to you I’m a liar, so you should ignore everything I just said. Good luck 🤷‍♂️
