Good job, seems we have to downgrade first, but what about root? Would root keeper work after flashing update?
Also the link is dead:confused:

    This is legit ICS alright!

However its a test build...... meaning it has loads of bugs and its not optimized. Wouldn't recommend it for daily use. Also my phone got really hot under normal use.

Root is possible via OTA Rootkeeper

How to get past the lockscreen : Press the home button and choose a default launcher. Then try the unlock on the homescreen. It should work.

    IMPORTANT!

After flashing this update the USB storage does not work. However you can still use Motocast to get files onto the phone.

This OTA also changes the Motorola recovery. Instead of looking in the external SD card, the recovery now reads the internal memory for updates. Previous OTA cannot be flashed and the only way to go back is to flash via Fastboot.

    Summerize

before do anything please backup both nandroid and titanium backup!!

    1st flash RSD to "6.5.1-73_SPU-11-M1-2"
    http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umt...USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml.zip

    -- Wipe --
-- root it after update to 2.3.6 --
-- backup root with voodoo OTA backup ---
-- un-root via voodoo OTA backup

2nd update OTA to "651.73.30/6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2" / then reboot and next to finish startup process
    http://dlhg.eternityproject.eu/mtsp...Blur_Version.651.73.30.XT910.Retail.en.EU.zip

3rd then update OTA to "651.167.20/6.7.1_SPU-ICS-DUMMY" / after reboot & Finnish restore root by voodoo

    enjoin!

** edit don't forgot to root it before update to 2.3.6 (2nd step) **

FYI, I restored my RAZR to fastboot files 6.5.1-73_SPU-11-M1-2 (which booted fine).

I've prepared a single zip to flash ICS (full rom, won't change webtop/radio/cdt/bootloader/bp).
Tested it myself. I was on 6.5.1-73_SPU-11-M1-2 before, and I booted fine into ICS.

Flash using CWM Bootstrap Recovery (XT910 / umts only!)

I've added a way to root. The autorestore of OTA Rootkeeper didn't work for me, but with the method described in first post now I'm rooted!
