Anyone ever have this happend? I have mine GSM unlocked via the hiddenmenu APK and have it on T-Mobile. Anyway all the sudden today I sat the phone down for about 2 hours, picked it up and it was completely dead, had maybe 60% left when I sit it down. Anyway charged it up. Was on for 5 min without touching it and it was hot to the touch and battery had dropped 10%. I downloaded a CPU app and seems something was constantly using 80-100% of the CPU. I had nothing rouge installed or nothing out of the odernary. This is a secondary device so it does not get heavy usage etc.

I reset the device and everything seems to be fixed, but my question here would there be anything Sprint wise thats attempting to do something? Its been about 2 weeks since I set it up. Was not sure if it was maybe trying to constantly activate and not telling me? or something Sprint ID related? I cannot disable the Sprint caller ID and it does seem to make numbers show up weird when I get calls since I unlocked it like its trying to use Sprint ID lol.

Anyone run into this? That would be the only thing I could think of would be some sprint app/built in app.

Thanks :)

I have an LS992 provided by directly by an LG service center; factory locked to Sprint but without any bloatware apps. Also set to GSM LTE via hiddenmenu method. I've not noticed any significant drain or odd behavior in the dialer as you describe, so it is a good bet you have a rogue Sprint app(s) assuming hardware is all fine.

Yeah I reset and things are so far back to normal. I just hope this won't be something I'll have to reset every couple of weeks because of it haha.

Update: After 2 resets, This issue is STILL occurring at random times, and usually only after using the phone, I put it down no apps running, but CPU pegged at 100% until it suddenly feels the need to go back to normal. I guess I'll end up selling it, Really liked the phone, but this is highly annoying. Seems this issue would be even more worse if it got used as a main device.
