GSM Voice call from Galaxy Tab 10.1v.

Hi

I am trying to enable GSM voice call on Galaxy Tab 10.1v. So far I tried to change some config values in firmware but no luck. I though I should open this thread to get some traction on this topic.

So far my findings are SGT 10.1v is cable to make/receive GSM voice call as it has the supported hardware and its only blocked via software.

I will keep trying, if anyone have done something like that please share your knowledge.

I've just flashed the modem.bin with odin (It's from P7500XWKG9_P7500XXKG7_P7500OXXKG3_HOME) just for fun and I discovered that sms sending and recieving works

that should make whatsapp work to because that needs to send a sms before it want to work. will try it this modem. you flash it with odin our just clockwork¿

Nice it works for me, flashed the modem.bin via odin to my 10.1v and now i can send sms thanks a lot!

1) To flash this via odin do i put it under PDA, Phone or bootloader?

2) If i flash it will it wipe my sd card?

3) Can I do it considering I am running the custom rom from seo?

4) Can I flash it via cwm?

Can you say the full steps to put the 10.1v making calls ?

For me dind't work, ehat can be the reason for that?

I have tried that but no luck yet. In-fact I tried phone.apk from the SDK too.
