Unfortunately, I have been very sick over the past few weeks, and with school still happening, it's really taking a toll on me. I feel terrible for taking so long to get things done, but it's the situation I'm stuck in. I'm trying to get completely well in time for my final exams, and that's going to be my priority, so the dev stuff will have to wait again sadly. )-:

(Not an April Fools joke heh)
@Jiangyi feel well! Your health should be your 1st priority. And good luck with your final exams :)

Did you wipe correctly (data, System, preload at least prior to flashing? Did you repartition - look earlier in this thread as to how... All in all this Rom is pretty reliable aside from the camera issue.

Unfortunately the development of the cm13/Android 6.0.1 Rom for this phone seems to have stalled for the Moment - at least we have not heard from any progress... I am hoping very much we will get such a Version eventually...

I know this is not the right place to ask Question but ..

Yesterday i bought an OTG cable, but when plug it to my phone it will not power the device(Flash Drive, Mouse, Etc..), and no notification show..
On my friend phone it's working (SGS2P)

Tried different roms (Omni 4.4.4 - 5.1 , CM 12.1 , SlimKat 4.4.4, Stock 4.1.2)... no one work :(
Any ideas

- First I'd recommend CM12.1, since it's the one with the latest security patches and still getting updates.
- Flash Stock JB with Odin.
- Follow the "First time installation instructions:" in the CM12.1 Thread, short version: copy rom and gapps to your phone, flash TWRP, reboot to TWRP, wipe, flash, reboot.

I just upgraded it to official 4.1.2 rom just now. I will follow your suggestion, thanks ;)

*Edited:
Yearghhh, successfully flashed CM12.1 without any problem. Thanks for your help :)

Done flashing OmniRom without any error.
Everything seems okay until I've done select Language, then it stuck after I select wifi network/data, it keep searching for updates. Tried to remove simcard, still the same.
My step on flashing it just like in the "First time installation instructions"

Any idea guys?

Sorry I think you misunderstood me. I meant you should not flash OmniROM at all but instead CM12.1. Sorry if my post was misleading.
The latest Omni build is from november 2015 and probably there won't be any more updates, while CM12.1 gets monthly security updates and is working without problems. At least 99% of the time, in the latest build apk install doesn't work, installing from the playstore works find though, so I'd recommend the 2nd latest build and wait for a fixed version if you need to install apk.
I don't know if anyone is still using OmniROM on our phone at all.

If you want to discuss CM12.1 further, you should post in the CM12.1 thread. So this is my last post here about CM12.1 ;)
Even though the op and I don't have the PlayStore FC problem, this guy had it and found a fix by using other gapps. Still not sure where the problem is, since not everybody has it :/

    IMPORTANT!

    Things you'd want to know:
    - Flashing takes a while. Up to 5-10 minutes. So be patient, it's not frozen.
    - Gapps DRASTICALLY reduces performance. I haven't worked out why or if there's anything that can be done about it. EDIT: Seems to be better with the latest build.
    - Booting takes an even longer while. Up to 5-20 minutes at the boot animation. So be patient, it's not frozen x2. Fixed
    - Daily functions (except for what's listed below) should work fine.

    20150623 Build:
    - 5.1.1 now
    - Fixed in-call mute
    - More SELinux rules, RIL should work fine for everyone now. If it doesn't, see instructions underneath the download link.
    - 3 months worth of stuff here and there in the main Omni codebase heh. Not gonna go through all of that. Sorry about the wait.

    20150322 Build:
    - Updated SELinux and enabled it: Please let me know if there are any issues that weren't previously present! Here's also the exact same kernel with SELinux set to permissive just in case: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByKvaiftk0pbTzM4VHh5WllEMkE/view?usp=sharing
    - Fixed up long press home button for recents menu
    - Add back Samsung specific camera parameters
    - A/V fixes
    - Added back Samsung extended AGPS support (Again)
    - Security fixes
    - Added silent mode
    - Changed the power menu layout/style

    20150316 Build:
    - Updated to Android 5.1! Lots of performance improvements and bug fixes
    - Note: GAPPS NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. See the new GApps link. In your recovery, make sure you wipe /system, and then flash the new build, and then flash the new gapps.
    - Home button wake is now put under Settings -> Buttons

    20150228 Build:
    - Fixed up DRM playback (Netflix should work now), huge thanks to @stargo for that! :)
    - Performance tweaks
    - Fixed Multiuser FC
    - Add back Samsung Extended AGPS support
    - Bunch of updates over the past month

    20150125 Build:
    - Bunch of updates over the past month (eg. Browser redesign, customizable hardware keys, etc.)
    - Fixed cell signal display
    - Updated low memory killer (LMK) and enabled KSM, should result in better performance
    - Toggling flashlight doesn't kill the camera now, but flashlight still doesn't work. Looking into it
    - Enabled dex pre-optimization, so I'm doing the optimizing at compile time on my desktop rather than you guys at boot on your phones. Drastically reduced boot time
    - Added back STK support

    20141224 Build:
    - We're at Android 5.0.2 now
    - PerformanceControl should work now
    - Advanced reboot options
    - Fixed vold and data more properly
    - Bunch of other stuff that I can't remember atm. It's been a while heh.

    20141130 Build:
    - Fixed Mobile data
    - Fixed camera
    - Fixed video playback in some circumstances
    - Enabled extended font support
    - Mainline changes
    - Latest version of SuperSU does work with this build, I checked. :p
    - Other stuff that I can't remember

    What's still broken:
    - Flashlight quick setting toggle does not work
    - Cell signal display is stuck at 2 bars, the actual cell signal works fine. Fixed
    - Sometimes the boot animation doesn't play; Does not affect usage
    - Adding an additional user triggers a soft reboot, but doesn't affect usage afterwards. Investigating. Fixed
    - Camera does not work currently Fixed
    - Mobile data doesn't connect Fixed
    - You tell me, that's how we get things improved around here :)

Guys, I'll be extremely busy for the next two weeks or so, as I attempt to finish all the school work I have before going on Christmas break. This is just a heads up that there won't be a new build for a while.

Sent from my XT1053 using XDA Free mobile app
    13
New build is up. See second post for a changelog.

The Wi-Fi issue should be taken care of now. If it still occurs, please let me know.

STK support is back, also please let me know if that works ( I'm not with a carrier that supports STK).

I also made a bunch of changes to the low memory killer (LMK), in an attempt to try to get better performance. Please let me know if apps are being killed too often though, as that could be a side effect.

The pre-dex optimization takes care of the long boot times, but at the cost of increasing the zip size. Just an FYI.

I still haven't figured out a solution as to GApps reducing performance like hell )-: (Though it's a little better with this build). It has been suggested to me that using these minimal GApps packages: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-google-apps-minimal-edition-t2943330 can help alleviate some of that. Please try them out and let me know!

For those who can't root, try the latest SuperSU v2.30 from Chainfire: https://plus.google.com/+Chainfire/posts/1DJTvfjRFoe

I'm guessing it's the issue with the TWRP version packed into the kernel that was causing the problem.

I've been busy for the past few days with school and my personal life stuff, I'll push out a new build before the end of the week.
