Feel free to drop in any questions about the device below.FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q- Which device is better, the GS II Plus or the original GS II?
A- Well, the original GS II comes with more internal storage, and an Exynos processor, but the GS II Plus comes with NFC, and very stable Jellybean out of the box. Take these pros and cons for each of the devices, and decide yourself.
Q- Is there a Cyanogenmod build available for the GS II Plus?
A- Why yes! Member "skullface" has compiled an Unofficial Cyanogenmod 10.1 (That's 4.2.2) build for the GS II Plus, based on work by "pawitp" for the Galaxy Grand. You can find the thread for CM 10.1 here.
Q- When will a specific subforum for the GS II Plus be made?
A- Well that cannot be told, but please, read above as to how you can request/vote for a subforum.
Q- Do the original GS II covers fit on the GS II Plus?
A- Yup.
Q- Does the GS II Plus perform well, or does it lag?
A- Well, I'd say it performs in an excellent way! Multitasks pretty well thanks to the 1 gigabyte of RAM and runs 4.1.2 quite smoothly, that as long as you don't choke it with apps, personally I have like 15-20 third party apps, and it runs excellently.
