Hi guys,
hope you can help because I have no idea left.
Follwing situation. I have an GT-I9195 (LTE Version) on an older Cyanogenmod version (don't remember which one exactly) and got recently the "encryption unsuccessful" error during boot up. Okay, I know that's quite simple to fix, just reformat /data in recovery as ext4. But my old CWM recovery (6.0.5.1.) is not able to to change the file system and can not access /data at all (Error mounting /data).
Okay easy to fix - I thought - just update the recovery to TWRP and your good to go.
But doesn't matter what I tried, there is no way to change anything on this damn phone. And I tried a lot:
-tried to flash TWRP via Odin -->successful but no change on the phone (still on CWM 6.0.5.1.)
-tried to flash TWRP via Heimdall -->successful but no change on the phone (still on CWM 6.0.5.1.)
-tried factory reset and the whole story again --> no change at all
-tried 4 files stock firmware -->successful but no change on the phone (still on CWM 6.0.5.1. and on cyanogenmod with the encryption error)
-tried Re-Partition with separate PIT file with 4 files stock firmware -->successful but no change on the phone (still on CWM 6.0.5.1. and on cyanogenmod with the encryption error)
-tried Nand Erase and Re-Partition (4 files firmware) -->successful but no change on the phone (still on CWM 6.0.5.1. and on cyanogenmod with the encryption error)
So it seems I'm not able to flash anything. Tried different computer (with different OS), different cable, different Odin version (use 3.13 for the most trials but also an older one -->same results), so now I'm running out of ideas.
Might have something to do with "write protection enabled" or Bootloader version 2 or Kernel lock on 0x0...
This is whats written in the download mode:
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9195
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
Knox KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
BOOTLOADER AP SWREV: 2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!
