[GT-N5110 on 4.4.2] Help with root

I am sorry if there are countless other guide already, but I couldn't find one that matched my current build, or which ones are acceptable to use. I found one for GT-N5100 and ones one JB, but don't know which ones are safe to use on my device.

Can I not use Towelroot or Kingroot?

Safe root it is the best for your device and works without flashing.

Or just flash Philz recovery for the N5110, and have recovery root for you.

I'm considering the latter option, but I'm not familiar with how that works.

Well if you think towel root Is easiest, as you are familiar with It, then go ahead. I just gave options that I know work and are stupid simple. The links to find what I offered are in this forum area. Just search here for them. Plenty of info and download links.
