Here is the latest firmware for the Tab Plus in Odin tar format(this is the russian version with selectable language & nothing added or removed) as well as a deodexed flashable zip(should work with any MF1 firmware)...after installation u will need to re-install root(use "framaroot" apk provided below for one-click root), busybox & xposed if needed

Install Instructions(all needed files are located below)
1. Flash "MF1 STOCK" with Odin
2. Install CWM or TWRP recovery with Odin (files must be unzipped first)
3. Flash "MF1 DEODEXED" in recovery
4. Root or re-root with framaroot app (open app, click "Aragorn", reboot, & you're done...yes its actually that easy!)

If u would like to have the multi window function found in newer samsung devices such as the Note 8 then click the thread below and follow the instructions...also check post #4 in the same thread if u would prefer to use tabletui instead of phablet mode

Two questions:
1-is there any improvement compared to the previous firmware?
2-is the twrp in op compatible with any tab 7 plus jb version?

Menu navigation

I´m a little lost here.

The Galaxy Tab 7 does not have hardware buttons other than power and volumen. The interfase of 4.1.2. with the Phablet multiwindow mod (probably this last one is the error) does not have a navigation bar so one could hit "home"

After getting to an application I can´t get out to home again. Only can scroll down the settings and connections from top, but that won´t get me anywhere.

How can I get the navigation bar back?

Is the tab going into deep sleep for other people?
I tried tracking it down using an app called Wake Lock Detector (very cool, BTW) and 1st it was Exchange, after I removed the account, it was gmail holding the wake lock. I also wiped the caches which had helped on other devices, but no luck.

I decided to drop back to MD3 and rooted. After about 24hrs of use it appears to be going into deep sleep as expected. If get ambitious I'll try to MF1 again to make sure it wasn't just a bad install last time.

I use unmodified MF1 and my tab is sleeping. However it wasn't sleeping after first start, but since reboot it's ok.
(I had same behavour also with ics rom)
I definitely rebooted a few times over the days I was troubleshooting. Maybe just a wonky install. I may try it again later.

Thanks for the reply.
