I have a noob question. I have a galaxy s duos with baseband version of S7562DDBMJ1 AND BUILD NO AS S7562XXBMJ1. Can i install the indian stock version on the phone without bricking the device??
The phone is currently on the stock version ROM .

your device is now running with indian firmware, right? Yes you can install....
This rom is also with the same build no. and baseband . There is no chance for brick

Thanks for the reply.however the indian baseband is given as S7562XXBNE2 where as in my phone it shows as S7562DDBMJ1. Is it ok to go ahead and install the ROM

Go ahead bro. Default indian baseband is DDBMJ1

Will the previous onscreen button addons work on this new version? why were those addons removed from the thread?

it will work , but in your settings > about menu , the new version no.(v1.0.2 ) will replace by the old version no. (v1.0.1)

Some of you know , my s duos is now in died state (battery problem) . So that's why i can't add them on the addon menu .

Thanks bro, but I hope it doesn't mean that you will discontinue development of this rom. This 2nd release is really good improvement as I can actually feel an increase in smoothness, and I like the wallpaper selections especially those from Cyanogenmod.

The onscreen soft buttons worked.:good: But if possible, I would like them to disappear when I open an app like a game or video player because the screen looks very crowded, and watching a video or playing a game is better when in full screen mode.

Overall, good work on the 2nd version.. Hoping for more releases in the future..

I Repaired my phone not the add-ons..
Sometimes I can make them transparent like in kitkat on the next update..
Other settings are defaulted by android os (remember Samsung devices are not designed for soft buttons)

If you want to add your own images
Just extract and replace an image which you like to insert with the old name..

ok it's a bug . I fixed it in the new version (2.1)
use kk dialer app on playstore (it's good ) .
I will update the new stable version of mightyboy rom soon...

one more thing is when we try to change the home and lock screen wallpapers , after selecting when i click on set wallpaper it says "app not installed"

What hapens when I will change the sdk in build prop to 17 or higher

sdk values determine the version of android .
By changing it , you can't get any benefits . But sometimes it may cause brick . Some devs are changing those values and make the rom supports the apps which are created for higher android versions .
If you're noob at android editing , stay away from editing buid.prop values or create a build prop backup for avoiding brick .
