Will it hard brick or soft brick my device. I already got bricked my device three times when I was a noob.
I edited build prop twice wich causes first two bricks then the last brick happened because of flashing an incorrect file

it might be a soft brick . In most cases you can enter into recovery mode which helps you to recover from the brick .
I bricked my device more than a hundred times before !
So i don't wanna think about it :)

What u edit to get ur and rom name in setting menu
build.prop values and settings.apk are deciding the rom name .
You don't have to worry about the bricks until you're facing it %-)
In these days I am very busy with my exams so i can't freequently log in to xda . PM me if you still have any doubts . Only post the things related to MightyBoy rom here .

i love what i see in v.2.1 so far, the smaller dpi goes well with the on screen soft touch button addon. also, the feel is smoother and more responsive than stock. it hangs sometimes but only in few occassions, unlike stock which hangs alot. one thing though, could u make the soft touch buttons disappear when playing games like clash of clans? it disappears when watching videos in mx player but stays when im playing COC. overall, a good rom, great job alfas:D

Oh thank you . I am very glad to hear this .
But this time I can't think about the soft buttons . Because I have my exams right now and also there are lot of third party apps on playstore as well as in xda for hiding soft buttons. You may use one of those to hide that buttons on full screen mode .

I recently installed the 2.1 ROM version to my S7562 and I can safely say that is the fastest of the ROMs I have tried already (eg Kyle).

However, I have two issues:
(a) The font within the applications menu screen as well as the launcher are very small. If I go to settings->display and enlargen the font, nothing happens.
(b I tried to use OpenVPN with a company VPN server. However, when it tried to connect from S7562 I got "Problem creating TUN interface: Possibly the tun.ko kernel module is not loaded in your Android kernel ". The baseband version i S7562XXBMD4.

Any help on those, especially the OpenVPN TUN Kernel adapter issue?

OK . You can change by editing the build.prop . Open buil.prop using a root explorer like ES file explorer and search for the below line
ro.sf.lcd_density=200

Change the value from 200 to 240 .

It might be look like this
ro.sf.lcd_density=240. Restart and enjoy.

For the second issue , try the above app , mentioned in the above post .

@AlfasMP : Found the file (/system/build.prop), tried to edit it with EFS and a number of text editors but none of the editors could save the file, probably because it is in use by the ROM (?) . I have SuperUser installed and allowed access to all editors. Any other idea how I can edit it while the phone is running?

The kernel tun.ko issue was solved by the App suggested, thanx! :cowboy:

You are right .
You have two options now

1 . copy build.prop to SD card and edit it. Make a flashable zip ( you may use the soft button add-on from the main menu and insert it into system folder without extracting it . Flash the zip and enjoy .
2 . Secondly, open es file explorer and enable root access . Mount system as writable by using the root menu of es file explorer. This time you can edit it without any problem.

The workaround with the Root access enabled @ EFS worked fine.. DPI is now enlarged.

However, the text underneath the icons on the phone desktop and within the applications menu has a very small font - same as before, when ro.sf.lcd_density=200 and not 240 as it is now.

Is there another setting which enlarges the font beneath the icons as well? The font setting from Android settings regarding the display leaves this unaffected!

Its impossible....
Who do you think will give update to lollipop...
Why ? We're all here . I think we get lollipop soon ( Nothing is impossible. But who hardly thinks about it , they can make it . of course :thumbup: )

We cannot get nothing without pain . Since I am using this device for daily use and a little busy at this time . I will try to make a port after completing my exams .

Just start yourself , the luck will come :D
